I don’t often see visual representations of the 2016 vote that include those people who were eligible to vote*, but didn’t. So I made one. The Con Game of the century is convincing people that “both sides are equally bad” and “it doesn’t matter the government is against us” and “I don’t like anybody, so I vote Independent!” Any cursory look at the numbers will tell you that the less people who vote, the fewer people decide what happens in our country. Don’t fall for it. Don’t give up your power. Register! Vote! *VEP or Voting Eligible Population is estimated from the VAP or Voting Age Population. That is, the number of people 18+ who are not in prison, felons, on parole, not citizens, and a few other conditions which make them ineligible. It gets complicated, especially because you have the d-bags who ARE eligible and DO vote, but don’t vote for the highest office, even to say None of the Above (which seems to only be a favorite in Nevada. WTG.)
