Non-Warbreaker Characters Read Warbreaker
If non-Warbreaker characters somehow had the opportunity to read Warbreaker, what would they think of it?

1. The Kholinar Wall Guard
Deedanor [eyes shining]: Obviously, we were honored to read about Captain Azure's early exploits! Noro: The Captain was so charmingly pathetic, and yet, underneath, we could already sense the greatness that would arise! Beard: I thought I had done amazing things (and I have), but the Captain! I would give anything to read the unwritten Warbreaker sequel! Ved: Hear, hear! Vivenna: ... Vivenna: Charmingly pathetic?
2. Vin & Elend
Vin: I mean...I was a little bit disappointed. Vin: Based on the title, I guess I was expecting...like...some kind of mighty warrior with a giant sword breaking entire battle lines in a single blow? Elend: So you wanted it to be about...you? Vin: ... Vin: Huh. Maybe...
3. Elhokar and Hoid
Elhokar: [sulking] Hoid: Listen, it was a whole different job there, you know? Hoid: On every world, I craft myself to fit in to the role I need to play. Elhokar: I can't BELIEVE you had magic sand and you never showed me once! Elhokar: I once had a party that used hundreds of gems to create colored pools of glowing water! Elhokar: You don't think I would have liked magic glowing sand?? Hoid: ...I'm so sorry...? Elhokar: You should be.
4. Dalinar & Kadash
Dalinar: Reading this, I find myself wondering. Dalinar: If the gods were physically present and you could see them, but they were also a little bit...like that, would it be easier or harder to believe? Kadash: Surely even you could believe in god if you could see him with your own eyes? Dalinar: [Shows the Kadash the passage where Lightsong & the other gods discuss politics while playing a game] Dalinar: It would be like worshipping the high princes. After seeing them at a party. Kadash: ...Never has atheism sounded so attractive.
5. Marasi
Marasi: I think that Siri and I would be good friends. Marasi: We could bond over the fact that our fathers didn't like us, that we were always compared unfavorably to our sisters...and that in the end, we made more of ourselves than anyone expected! Wayne: Yeah! Plus Siri was paired up with the god-king, and you were partners with me, who...uh......... Marasi: It doesn't need to be an exact parallel... Wayne: [already wearing the crown he found somewhere] Oh, it doesn't?
6. Kaladin
Kaladin: [looks suspiciously at Zahel] Kaladin: [looks back down at the, uh, glyph-translated copy of Warbreaker he's somehow reading] Kaladin: [looks back at Zahel] Kaladin: Hey, uh, Zahel... You use a lot of incomprehensible color metaphors... Kaladin: And there was the time you attacked me with laundry... Kaladin: Are you, um, from this Nalthis place? Zahel: Nope. It's all just a coincidence. Kaladin: ... Kaladin: That was a complete lie, wasn't it?! Zahel: Worth a try.
7. Rebeke & Nomad
Rebeke: Another world where the dead do not stay dead... Rebeke: But instead of coming back as deadly Shades, they come back as fully embodied, sentient humans who can communicate clearly. Rebeke: No good for engineering, though. Rebeke: Eh. I prefer our system. Nomad: YOU DO?!
8. Szeth
Szeth: Sword-Nimi, I had no idea your backstory was like this. Szeth: ... Szeth: At the same time, it all feels completely expected. Nightblood: Pretty cool, right?? Did you like all my friends?? Nightblood: Man, I think it's been a couple of days since I last saw them! Szeth: It may have been slightly longer than that. Nightblood: A week?? Szeth: ... Szeth: I think you've grown a lot since then, Sword-Nimi. Nightblood: Aww, thanks!
9. Kelsier
Kelsier: Things would have been so much easier if I had just died on Nalthis... Kelsier: It's like you get a free physical body, just for the price of having unfinished business or whatever. KelsIer: And I have plenty! Kelsier: But noooo, I was born on the planet where if you don't properly die you end up as a ghost. Preservation: A-Again, that wasn't supposed to happen either! Kelsier [ignoring him]: I would have made SUCH a good Returned.
10. Adolin & Renarin
Adolin: Zahel... Captain Azure... Renarin: Nightblood... Adolin: Nightblood, yeah. Renarin: Plus, Wit / Hoid, if we're counting him... Adolin: That's like four characters who carried over from that book to ours! Renarin: In terms of main characters who live, I think we're just missing Siri and maybe Susebron. Adolin: Maybe we're the long-awaited Warbreaker sequel? Renarin: I-I'm sensing so much anger coming our way, all of the sudden! Adolin: I'm just saying!
