2018 is done. 2019 is here. You have a blank slate ahead of you.
So what are you going to do now?
Resolutions are great. But it’s not enough. Most people give up on them before January is over. And the few that hang on... well, most of them forget it by spring.
So let’s be different this year.
Your instructions are below. Follow them.
Define your why. Set definable goals. Set deadlines or milestones. And (here’s the important part) WRITE. THEM. DOWN.
Everyday, look at them. Remind yourself why you’re doing it. Maybe it’s because it’s something the doctor told you. Maybe you’re just sick of being in the same rut as last year and the year before. Maybe you want to make life better for your family. Whatever it is, look at it everyday.
You can do it. When you were brought into this world, God saw your greatness. He knew that there was something that only you could do. Otherwise, why are we here?
Believe me when I say that I’m writing this just as much for me as I am for whoever’s reading this. But I think God put it in my heart to share it. Not for likes, but because deep down, I know that someone needs to hear it.
Will it be easy? Hell no. But what do you have to lose? And when it gets tough, look at your words. Look at your progress. Remember your reason why. Pray for the strength to push through. And as my brother always reminds me, “Trust the process”.
Be the crab who fights to get out of the bucket.
Day 1 of 365. Let’s get it.
