There is no physical release in English for The ComiQ, but Viz did release it digitally earlier this year. With Takahashi’s passing, I hope to influence people to pick up his last published work. It’s a murder mystery about a comic artist trying to uncover the true culprit of a murder his art assistant has been framed for.
The art is very playful, and it feels like he had a lot of fun making it (You get to see him draw in multiple “stereotypical” manga styles). Someday, if a physical English version is never released, I’m gonna get my hands on the Japanese tankouban.
