This whole fight gives me emotions. Greed also just helping Edward out in the end by this despite Edward not wanting to kill him, but this was his way to say "Hey, so this is how you kill a homunculus so please give them hell for me, I'm counting on you kid."
Greed was our hero all along no matter the series.

Personal update
Iāve beenā¦.. tired. I had that comic con, which already was kind of a lot, but on top of that I had an unexpected car problem that ended up costing a ton, causing me to not finish my cosplays, and plans with the person I was supposed to go to con with kinda fell through.
So ofc I was gonna try and work more to offset the car stuff, right? WRONG computer had a critical hardware issue and I had to very quickly get a laptop else I basically lose my job? So that wasnāt cheap either??
I wanted my return to writing to be more pleasant than this, but as is, Iām justā¦ā¦.. tired. I feel tired and grumpy most days and canāt get into the mindset I want to. Iām also worried since itās been a hot minute since I wrote, Iām going to be super out of practice and not reallyā¦. Remember how I was doing things?
Anyway all of this is to say, I miss writing, I want to go have a pleasant time somewhere nice to write fic stuff, but things have just been miserable ngl

anyway 03 edward elric my beloved blorbo wish people appreciated your stellar character arc and excellent scenes where you admit you have racial biases and that you contribute to war and racism in your chasing of a dream i love how many scenes you get put in your place and where your flaws are actual flaws i love how much you change over the course of the series in a believable way because your entire belief system and worldview gets deconstructed i love how you were written so much more like a kid in over his head i love your cute little outfit in cos and that you stay a short king with prosthetics and fuck everyone who ever criticized you for being too emotional because you were a deconstruction of the typical shounen protagonist according to the writers where you were never meant to be (just) a badass cool awesome role model but someone very human and relatable and i love how the english dub writers specifically altered your dialogue to be more relevant to american views in 2003 to the war in iraq and you had some of the rawest realest fucking lines uttered in the franchise
