The deltarune gang as deco pacifiers:

Crochet Pocket Sea Slug Plushie: One-of-a-Kind Mystery Box
Weirdly, I don't remember ever seeing stuffed animals as comfort objects. I mean, I had stuffed animals (yay, pandas!), but my approach toward them was more one of responsibility? These are my stuffed toys and it is my responsibility to take care of them. I didn't play with or cuddle them too much because I wanted their fur to remain soft looking. I was also given custody of my mother's stuffed rabbit from when she was little and I found the one bit of fur that was still smooth (between the ears) and would pet it to make sure it remained that way.
(My comfort items were always books. When I was overseas and feeling lonely, I would go to the bookstore and just walk around. Being unable to read the books didn't matter. Being surrounded by books did).
I just think they're neat! (Even if Grimby does insist on collecting every speck of lint..need to make him some dust bunny friends!)

Anyone else really love the Brave Little Toaster as a kid because you could relate to having an emotional connection to objects and personifying them in a way that was similar to the movie?
Also would you consider yourself to be autistic?
Blankie was my guy and he still makes me cry.
I lowkey want a blankie tattoo but not in a visible place because I don’t ever want to have to explain it publicly 🙃
🧸 Genma! 🥹
Hello, darling! I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I have never written for Genma before, so hopefully you enjoy this <3.
Genma is always calm, cool, and collected... unless you're around. He does his best to feign disinterest, but it's so hard when you're sitting there with your pretty hair in your cute dress... and, oh? Are you actually smiling at him?
Flustered, he smirks and quickly glances away at nothing in particular. Tempted, he peeks back to find your dazzling eyes still locked firmly onto him. He catches your glance, and this time you look away first.
He is fascinated by you. You always appear so confident, and yet you're nervous when you catch him staring at you? Genma sighs and stands up, flicking his senbon around with his tongue as he strides over to you.
"Hey," he greets you coolly, placing his hands in his front pockets. "What's your name?"
You introduce yourself, and Genma's cheeks grow warmer with each passing moment. There is electricity coursing in the air between your bodies, and when he repeats your name, he finds that he wants to say it over and over again.
The two of you sit and talk for hours that night, eventually moving to a park bench when the bar closed just so you wouldn't have to stop talking to each other. It's a frigid time of year, even for Konoha, and so you let your hair down and place your hair ribbon in your lap.
"That's a pretty ribbon," Genma muses, reaching forward. "Do you mind if I take a look at it?"
"Not at all," you say, handing it to him with a smile. "It was a gift from my parents. Pretty, isn't it?"
He smiles and turns the silk around in his fingers, glancing towards you with his chestnut eyes. His chest grows tight when you look at him, and it is here, in this moment with you, where Genma finally understands why romance novels are written. It's when the sparks fly, and when the universe puts a spotlight on two people whom have only just met, that makes everything finally slip into place.
People write the novels to recreate these delicate memories; in an attempt at holding on to life's best and most peaceful moments. The spotlight brightens, and Genma keeps his eyes focused onto yours.
"It's more than pretty," he says. "It's gorgeous."
Eventually, you allowed Genma to keep your ribbon. He wore it around his upper arm, tied neatly with a perfect little bow each day - a reminder of that one divine and perfect moment.
The moment he started falling for you.
