🧡🌿🌿🌿🧡 I’ve always been strongly attracted to colour. It has been specific colours at specific times, I am certain, reflecting the energetic signature of the time for me. This year, my favourite blue has been blending all the way to green (associated with the heart, good luck and abundance as well as nature). The surprise was orange. Last year @kate_sexton18 wanted to buy an orange hat. I wasn’t interested in orange, I wanted a yellow hat. But this year I have a vital thirst for orange (associated with the sacral, creativity, sexuality, warmth, the sun and vitality). It has been deeply healing to surround myself with these colours! I feels almost as though I am drinking them through my eyes. 💚🧡 I know it is an indication of where my healing is happening. I embrace the process fully. Came across these goodies the other day in @frompaperchase !! It seems one of their focuses at the moment is colour and is inspirational powers! Most interesting!! The book looks into the history of colour and when the various hues came into use and from where they were sourced - really good if you’re a colour nerd or history buff. Colour is such a powerful god given tool found abundantly in nature as well as within our own minds. Maybe this is a sign for us all to work with it more this year. Pantone - a Color System which creates a standardized color matching system widely used around the world and devised to help printers and designers to specify and control colors for printing projects says that THE colour for 2022 is “Very Peri". Described as a joyful mixture of red and blue: Pantone 17-3938, otherwise known as Very Peri is described as reflecting the increasingly blurry boundary between our physical and digital worlds, they say “We just needed to open our minds to a new vision, so I think part of that was realising [that] maybe we have to transform our process as well,” The end result - they say - is a warm, whimsical color that fuses a reliable blue and a violet red undertone into one exciting shade that Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, refers to as “the happiest and the warmest of all the blue hues,” citing its “sprightly, joyous, dynamic presence.” Interesting - is it not - that this colour contains blue - the colour found in the 6th Ray - the ray of 2022 - 2+0+2+2 = 6 - the ray patronised by the Mother Mary - this years patroness and violet or lilac. A colour found in the violet ray and of course those angels that embody its power such as Tzaphkiel a violet flame angel who is the Mother Mary’s harbinger, who clears the way of negative energy for the love of the Mother Divine to enter in. The dash of red grounds the energy of the blue and violet bringing it into the physical plane so that we can use it in both our environment and our physical bodies as well as our mental and emotional self. Hmmm … maybe there’s something in all this “colour of the season” or maybe there’s someone in Pantone who is open to a little spiritual inspiration! Oh and if you were looking for a crystal that holds this energy I would suggest Sugilite - the cancer care stone which also inspires the transmutation of negativity and the embracing of self love! Your positivity blast for today ❤️ Wildlife photographer Andrew Fusek Peters, 56, captured the colorful spectacle at the Soulton Long Barrow in Shropshire on the evening of December 29. The recently completed burial site has been aligned to capture the sun at the midwinter solstice as it passes through a stained glass window, illuminating the burial chamber. Andrew had been on a walk in the Shropshire Hills when he spotted the opportunity to capture the atmospheric phenomenon and “drove like a maniac” to get there in time.
