Another colour blending experiment to share. This time with acrylic paint, printed by using cardboard edges. It was a quick way of working, and easy to adjust the colours by layering once dry. I like that it blends, but still has a sharpness about it. You can also drag the paint using a wide horizontal stroke, which created a finish reminiscent of the existing print on my fabric. I have a few more ideas to try before I make a decision, but so far this is the leader. I would like to see also, how a combination of paint, with sparse embroidery stitches applied on top might look. I will also look to see if there is an application tool I can use that might give a finer line finish, possible wire or similar. #acrylicpainting #blackandwhite #colourblending #linear #markmaking #experiments #textile #samples #britishartist #textilearts #sampling #artistsprocess #textileartist #workinprogress #wip #ukartist https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce0bkCZIDdk/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
