#cold chicago

We spent two nights in Chicago to start off our America trip and I'd have to say this was the best picture that we took despite the bitterly cold weather. It was MLK Day which is why the building to the right has "I have a dream" written on it. Also, I've just now learned that this day is called "Blue Monday" which is to signify the civil rights movement.

My wife wanted to experience winter weather and she got it. Luckily she had brought enough winter gear to allow her to explore Chicago. She also got the chance to ride on Chicago's Red Line. It was so cold on the Monday after we arrived that there wasn't a single soul inside Harrison Station.

When I'm running and I feel like I'm slow as molasses, this song comes on and suddenly I feel like I can sprint five miles. So I keep hitting repeat. Obsessed a little.
