Moussaka (μουσακάς) is often referred to as the lasagna of Greece. The problem with this comparison is that moussaka doesn't contain any pasta, rather it is filled with eggplant and a thick bechamel topping. Overall, I prefer moussaka over lasagna. Enjoyed at Santorini located in Kuta.

Enjoying a hand-rolled Toscano (imported from Italy) cigar, one of the most unique cigars in the world. Enjoyed at El Laguito located in Legian.

Enjoying a delicious calzone "P" (I assume that the "P" stands for the slices of prosciutto that are laid on top) at the Village Cucina Italiana located in Sanur.

Enjoying kabsa with lamb (أرز الكبسة) at Al-Jazeera, the largest and arguably the most famous Arab restaurant in Bali. Kabsa is considered the national dish of Saudi Arabia which is quite similar to biryani.

Sira Village, the newest and most controversial mall in Bali. Located not far from Suwung Landfill, it was because of this mega project that the governor of Bali decided to close the landfill temporarily which caused a garbage crisis in Kuta. The landfill has now been partially opened but the stench can still be noticed from the northern end of the mall. Overall, it is an excellent place to go for a walk.

First time ever trying a "gordito" sized cigar. I had come to this cigar shop and lounge, called El Laguito, to inquire about the longest cigar size in the world the gran corona. Unfortunately, the shop didn't carry them but instead of just walking out of the store, I decided to get a locally produced cigar from a company called Espiritu. I'm not sure what happened, perhaps the cigar had already expired but halfway through the cigar I started feeling ill to my stomach and had to put it out.

Enjoying caviar with crêpes, a Russian breakfast delicacy, at Usha located in Ungasan. I most likely wouldn't order this again but at least I was able to try it.

I stepped inside this building thinking it was still Coop, a workspace and cafe, only to be given stares by the people inside. Apparently, it has now become an office for some real estate company. Of course, it would have been common sense to have removed all of the signage associated with the previous business and put up a new sign stating that it is now an office (there wasn't a single sign showing that it had changed). This is one of the things that really irks me about Indonesia, the lack of basic communication.

Trying vegemite for the second time, but this time around I've courageously spread a big glob on it (the first time I was only able to have a nibble). I still don't like it that much but at least I've had the full vegemite experience.
