actually wait. both of these are amazing website ideas. they would hold value + visibility will benefit people beyond myself.

but ok I really want a topic that NO ONE needed a website about. so let me propose...

HTML colour names - a site that explains where each name came from, and includes comment sections that let users express thoughts about each colour...

And to turn a string into an integer?

Yeah. So in JavaScript, +"10"+10 == 20 but 10+"10" == "1010". Which is also 10 but in binary but that's beside the point

Oh and if you know the variable n is a string, and you want to execute a function conditionally if that string is not empty? In a normal programming language you'd go:

if(n !== "") { doThis(); }

Right? But in JS, empty strings "" are falsy. And JS also evaluates && and || lazily (it won't evaluate the second operand of a && comparison if the first evaluates to false).

So guess what the most economical code to do the exact same thing as the above in JS looks like.

n && doThis();
