Less Than Ideal Circumstance - TF 141 x Reader
Wanting to make some fluff, a short blurb, and get a little more self-indulgent. Maybe provide some more context for how you met the team, too. (One version anyway).

You had hoped the move to Scotland would provide some much needed changes in your life and some freedom from, well, the myriad of reasons you had left the States behind. And yes, you were much happier here, and your home came with the benefit of having a number of military men that were always more than happy to spend some time with you and help around the house when they were around.
Honestly, if it weren’t for the guys, you would’ve lost it. You had been in a rush to get out of the States as soon as possible so when you finally got to see your new home (in the pouring rain might I add, after a grueling journey here) you quickly realized why it had been so affordable and why you really shouldn’t have gotten it site unseen. It was a wreck but it was a roof over your head so you had to take what you could get.
It hadn’t taken long for the team to see that someone had moved into the run down home next door. Johnny was pretty much home bound (much to his chagrin) so he let them know when it looked like someone had actually been fool enough to buy the house months ago. They had eagerly awaited their new neighbor so when you showed up they were oh so quick to roll out the welcome wagon.
Kyle and Johnny were the only ones home and Price wouldn’t be back for another two days, so they both took advantage of the opportunity to help you fix up the trash heap you were residing in (given you outright refused their initial offer to have you stay over until it was decent). You would later change your mind after a while of struggling to make your home habitable and running into death traps at every turn, but only after you had met all of them and circumstances (your porch deciding to delete itself right in front of Simon) forcing your hand.
Which leads us to your current situation: living in their spare room. you had no idea how they even had a spare room given how many of them there were, but you suspected they bunked together and this room used to belong to someone. Hard to tell who, but it had a faint smell of cologne and they had obviously made it more comfortable and homey for you given how sparse their own rooms were. It was touching, really, and the idea of the group going shopping and trying to make the space nice for you was sweet.
You didn’t spend as much time with them as you thought you would once you moved in. They were trying to work on your house as much as possible since the majority of them were going to be sent on a long tour in a matter of weeks. Of course, Price insisted that they would be more than happy to have you stay in the months they were going to be gone and since Johnny was going to have to stay here anyway...
“Just take the win, hen,” Johnny said one day when you remarked how everything had just worked out. “Some angel up there decided it was your lucky day.”
