Note: The Volumptious Body Butter isn't so good on my overtly sensitive skin so I only use it as hand cream. The Cocoa Mango, on the other hand, works fine on my skin though.
Marshmallow Fireside- I didn't like the smell in the tub but on the skin, it dampens down to a lovely smokey scent. I am unsure of whether I can smell the marshmallow but I am not someone who has ever toasted marshmallows on a fire so far in my life (but I'd like to). I like how wearing it makes me feel like I have been sat by a bonfire and the scent has just lingered on me. I find it very conforting. This will be lovely for October.
A Little Piece of Heaven-(In the pot) smells like a fresh clean linen. (First applied) smells like a posh sun protection cream. No coconut notes, just a pleasantly "unfragranced-fragrance" vibe. (Dried down) WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! It's an invigorating wake-me-up. There's a real cripsness to it which smells like it could be lettuce.
Naughty-(In the pot) it has a bit of a plastic/rubber kind of smell and I don't like it. (First applied) it still smells plastic but it a slightly sexy way thanks to the amber resins. (Dried down) it's ANOTHER TRANSFORMATION! The plasticky scent has gone. This smells SEXY. It's very smokey with only a hint of sweetness. Personally, I feel that this could be a good unisex smell.
Marshmallow Fireside-(In the pot) to me, it smells like plastic, albeit a creamy plastic. (On the skin) it's just smokey. I'm still unsure if I smell the marshmallow. (Dried down) just like the Volumptious formula, it's a confounding smokey bonfire scent.
Cinderella's Carriage- Described as a "sexy foodie", this was the scent I was most excited about. (In the pot) it smells very creamy, like a vanillary whipped cream. (First applied to skin) it smells incredibly delicious. Like the sweet wafers that you get with icecream sundaes. There's a creamy icecream accent with a hint of nuttiness. (Dried down) it smells like a sweet baked good with a bit of salt, like maybe a freshly baked pretzel. There is a very subtle hint of pumpkin.
Chergui-(In the pot) it's a wow intense scent, very spicy and somewhat reminiscent of those fireball sweets that I remember from childhood. (First applied) it is just like that lovely consitioner that you get included in the packaging of Schwarzkopf Live XXL box dyes, but made for skin. (Dried down) despite being so strong in the container, it dries down to a very subtle fragrance. You can really smell the spiciness of the myrrh and the tobacco leaf. I'm not really picking up any sweetness from the honey note at all. One thing that IS SO SUPER AWESOME is that it is one of the very few spicy products that doesn't irritate my skin at all. Definitely could be unisex. It also smells a bit like old books but in a good way. I know this is a dupe of a perfume from another brand. Any aduĺt who wants a sophisticated perfume could wear this.
Lavender Clouds- (In the tub) a creamy vanillary marshmallow scent. I usually love sickly sweet things, but this feels possibly too much for me. I can only faintly smell the lavender. (First applied) all I can smell is marshmallow. (Dried down) still very sweet marshmallow, less sickly but still a little sickly. It's making my skin feel a little irritated and I don't know why. I do not like this one.
Afternoon Tea- (In the pot) it smells very fresh. A welcoming and rather clean scent. (First applied) it smells so refreshing. You can really smell the earl grey tea and the cucumber. It's fresh. It's delicious. (Dried down) the honey really comes through. It definitely smells like a sweet tea. (Other thoughts) this scent really brings up memories. It makes me think of having breakfast in a Premier Inn whilst on holiday.
