No,CLRG bans anyone from entering open platform competitions.You can do it with the university though
can you direct me towards those rules? because i’m hunting through the CLRG website and i can’t find anything on there of that sort (i definitely competed at an open platform feis back in 2010 when i was with a CLRG school and my teachers didn’t suggest there was any problem with that)
(and the Digital Feis website says “Open Platform: Digital Feis is open to all interested dancers no matter their organization affiliation. Digital Feis is not responsible or liable for dancers entering events not approved by their governing body.” but i can’t find any written indication that CLRG doesn’t approve.)
i wish CLRG had a functional website where the rules you need to know are actually, like, accessible. i have wasted too many hours of my life trawling through ridiculously detailed documents that still don’t tell me what it was i wanted to know
