My husband suggested sewing velcro on the insides of pockets that thibgs tend to fall out of. My mind is blown and I am now going to velcro all the pockets.

I was always leaving my clothes either strewn around my bedroom or hung on all the doors of the flat and it wasn't because I was trying to be a dick I just couldn't put them in my wardrobe. The second I did I would literally forget they exsist and either never wear them or think I'd lost them. I just could not handle it. Then one day I came home and Jim (my Grandand) had moved all my clothes off the living room door, I basically started to freak out until he took me to the end bedroom and showed me what he'd done, he'd got me a small clothes rack and omg it was amazing. Bless him it was the most thoughtful thing, now I can see all the clothes when I want to find them. Plus I had the enjoyment of organising them all by colour which I love (I can seem like a messy person due to having to see everything I need but I really do enjoy organising and colour coordinating).
Best item ever bought for me and he got it cheap from a B&Ms so basicslly to anyone else out there with object permanence issues OR who just really likes the idea of seeing their clothing choices easier I highly reccomend one of these, you can find them reasonably priced and they are a life saver👌
I also reccomend if you don't want them to get dusty or damp (and your cheap like me) a simple bin liner to place on top of them to sheild them. I did this after the flat above burst a pipe and the freaking ceiling started leaking but it's been great for the dust too🙌
if you live in a cold area and get cold easy i highly highly highly recommend wearing fleece lined leggings/tights under your pants, skirt, shorts, dress, whatever you’re wearing. i wear a super long coat that's pretty well insulated so my top half is fine, but the remainder of my legs sticking out always get so cold. also sometimes the inside of buildings are just cold as well because some buildings are cold and not well insulated.
Sewing socks into my jacket to make the sleeve longer.

10 CLEVER WAYS YOU CAN RECYCLE KIDS TOYS - http://healthandbeautology.org/10-clever-ways-you-can-recycle-kids-toys/
So today I bought these really cute shorts from a little shop that had no changing room. When I got home and tried them on, they didn't fit and that totes freaked me out becuase it would be the first time that old timey wrap-the-waist-band-round-your-neck trick didn't work. Turns out I just forgot to unzip the fly lmao.
Life Hack
If you are a slender person, shop in the freaking kid's section. Half the time they will have the same clothes at a fraction of the cost. Just find the extra large or 2x and trust me you will fit.
