Because Shiro is japanese is white.

And some people call clone shiro kuro, which is black in japanese.

Some people call clone shiro kuron(i do this) because of the haggar experiment being called project kuron.

INTERESTING to me how the first episode with shiro's clone you can already tell he's acting differently. in that episode, you're maybe like, well, bro is stressed out. then the next episode? CRAZY bro he's YELLING AT KEITH don't take that tone with him, boy. that's your kid don't talk to him like that 💔 like his heart's obviously in the right place but it still feels OFF to the rest of what we've been shown of shiro for the first two seasons.
