In the costal settlement of Port Medway, Nova Scotia, Canada, a hedgerow of Rosa majalis var. plena (cinnamon rose, May rose) was filling the air with fragrance. The small, very double, flat flowers are distinctive and this deciduous shrub when on its own roots will produce dense, suckering growth. This rose was introduced from Europe but has naturalised, it was used to produce rose hip syrup.

You've officially hit the 2-3 age of life! Another year older and wiser. I want to wish you the most joyous and exciting year as you deserve all the happiness in the world. This past year has been another rocky road filled with ups and downs, and sometimes middle ground. We've grown with each other through thick and thin. We've learned more and more about each other every day and we continue to share and teach each other about life based on our own experiences. You have been a rock for me when no one else has. You are one of the few that know me inside out and I thank you for that. I would have never imagined that life would pan out the way it has and although it has been rocky for us, I don't regret it. Through all our hardships and fights, it was worth it and it made us that much stronger. When things got rough we never ever forgot about the moments that mattered, and how much we truly cared and loved each other. With this we can conquer everything. During times that we fought I always knew that things would work out. It would never be easy but we did it. Without you I think that I would probably struggle through life. NEVER EVER FORGET THAT I AM HERE FOR YOU NO MATTER WHAT! igotchu!
