I just got back from the CERN movies festival, where my short “point d’orgue” was selected! It was 5 really cool days, I was able to experience the occulus rift, the virtual reality headset for 3D gaming, and even got the chance to visit part of the CERN facility. I also met some great people from around the world. And a toad. Its name is Jimmy the scientist toad and he is the smartest Toad of Switzerland, i hope I’ll see him again someday. A huge thank to Cineglobe and all the people working there, it was a pleasure to be part of this festival!

The Swiss avant-première of the 2 films Symmetry & Symmetry Unravelled where a great success at the CineGlobe opening; the CERN film festival in Geneva last Tuesday March 24th. The Q&A unleashed a discussion with the audience that the films are touching: how do arts & sciences relate in todays time?

Pour sa 5e édition, CineGlobe célébre la Convergence. Ce thème illustre la rencontre des esprits, des méthodes et est un symbole de l’époque où nous vivons. Il marque les retrouvailles de la science et de l’art, de la technologie et de l’expression personnelle, de la recherche et de la créativité. En effet, le 21e siècle est le témoin d’une nouvelle renaissance incitant les artistes et les scientifiques à aller au-delà de leurs domaines de spécialités pour faire converger la science et l’art.

Du 1er mai au 31 juillet 2014, vous pouvez soumettre des courts-métrages (pas plus de 10 minutes et en HD) pour le concours lancé pour les 60 ans du CERN.
