Chuuya: I’m not a Nakahara anymore. I took my wife’s name it’s Yosano now.

-He smirks-

Yosano: As a doctor I should remind you to pay attention to the muscles in your left shoulder especially the trapezius area to avoid muscle strain.

Chuuya: Is that so?

Yosano: Yeah it’s better for you not to sleep on your left side smirks ideally you should sleep next to me.

-Chuuya blushes and then smirks back-

Yosano: He’s not my boyfriend.

Ranpo: I think you better tell him that.

Yosano: What?

Ranpo: Only love makes you that act that crazy and jumping in right there was nothing short of stupid.

Yosano: I guess it was.

Ahh!!!! My lovelies!!

7. Which character confessed their feelings first? And how was it? What did they do? How were they feeling?

Okay so Chuuya was humming and harring over the perfect place and time to confess. But obviously shit just kept coming up, they were interrupted all that.

They’re in the middle of a fight and he sees Yosano cut through a bloody path of enemies. She’s laughing her arse off, got a crazed look in her eye and covered in blood.

And Chuuya’s just staring at her and goes god I love you.

And he doesn’t realise that he’s said it out loud until she turns around looking at him stunned.

Unfortunately the battle is battling so they kinda have to put a pin in that for now. But once it ends, Chuuya takes Yosano aside and he’s like fuck it well now’s a good a time as any.

He tells her that he’s been drawn to her since the moment they met. That he truly enjoys her company, that she’s one of the kindest people he’s ever met.

And falling for her was just inevitable.

Yosano’s response is that she can’t say it back, not yet. But that Chuuya means a lot to her too, that she feels that she’s truly found a person that makes her feel human. That he’s not what she expected, but better than anything she could imagine.

10. Do they have anything they don’t like about one another? Any annoying habits or bad incidents in the past?

Yosano can find it a bit hard at times to reconcile how much Mori means to Chuuya. That someone she loves so openly admires and is loyal to a man that has abused and continues to want to hurt her.

As for Chuuya he struggles to let her in at times. He’s lost a lot of loved ones and he’s so used to outranking even his closest of friends. That he can sometimes be distant and keep her at arms length as not to appear weak.

Also when Chuuya is having a bad day sometimes hearing about Yosano’s “treatments” can be a trigger for him.

They also both don’t like how much the other disregards their own safety. They both throw themselves into dangerous situations making themselves a target because they know they can survive it.

And it’s hard to see them suffer like that while also recognising that they do the same.

11. How would they deal with those things? Do they have open communication or do they just bottle it up?

Lots of difficult conversations with wine in hand. It’s a lot of trial and error, they make mistakes and they try to learn from them.

Yosano learns to accept Mori will always be a presence in their lives. She chose to be with one of his subordinates after all.

But that just because Chuuya works for the guy doesn’t mean he condones what happened to her.

That he doesn’t love or view her any less. That yes Mori is his boss and he would protect him with his life but that’s just the kind of person Chuuya is.

The kind of person she loves.

She doesn’t have to forgive Mori or forget what he did for her in order to love Chuuya. Much like how even Fukuzawa can work with the man when the situation arises.

Chuuya learns what it means to be equals with someone again. It’s scary to be vulnerable but Chuuya has always loved fiercely with all he has.

It’s who he is and to be able to be open about that is thrilling and terrifying. He learns to have a life outside of the Port Mafia and it’s comforting to know someone’s waiting for him back home.

Someone who won’t judge him for being weak and hold him when he’s scared. He always reaches out first because it’s what he’s comfortable with.

And she’s always there for him.

Chuuya does get to a point where he feels comfortable enough to tell her bits and pieces about his past at the lab. That he’s moved on and made peace with what happened, but there’s days it gets to him.

And she promises to keep the intel about her “treatments” on a need to know basis. She even keeps her chainsaw and whatever medical equipment in her work office.

I imagine too that they’d have a deal that Yosano only uses her ability on Chuuya unless it’s dire and there’s no other option.

He doesn’t want to be torn apart again and she doesn’t want to hurt him in ways she can’t heal him.

And well both of them have to accept that hey this is our job, we are gonna have to take necessary risks and put our lives on the line.

And if I do it then I can’t hold it against you for doing the same.

It doesn’t get any easier to watch their loved ones get hurt or fly off into danger like that. But they trust each other, their judgement, their expertise and those around them.

And know that when it’s over they can make sure that they’re okay.

They’re learning, they’re getting there slowly but surely.

15. Would they adopt pets together? How many? What animal(s)? Did they disagree on the animal(s)?

So Yosano isn’t really an animal lover she will pet the odd stray cat that approaches her (because Fukuzawa feeds all the ones nearby and they want treats.)

She doesn’t hate the idea of pets it’s just more that she doesn’t think she’d be well suited to care for one.

Chuuya as we all know loves dogs will all his heart and soul. He shows Yosano’s pictures of stray dogs that pass his path heading to work every morning.

He’s given them all names in his head and has admitted to carrying treats on his person and she thinks it’s adorable.

Yosano is the one to get Chuuya a puppy for his birthday. A client’s dog had puppies that were being re-homed and she asked if she could take one in.

There’s a video of him being surprised and it’s adorable it is the most precious thing.

The puppy adores Chuuya and Chuuya just instantly falls in love. With Yosano staying with him she looks after the doggo at night while he’s working.

And soon grows to care for it as well.

Chuuya once came in at night and found the two curled up on the sofa fast asleep.
