Seventeen year old Dazai and Chuuya get sent on a simple job in Edinburgh.

“Just say something normal for once.” Chuuya starts back towards the maze of alleyways that led him down near the port in the first place. Dazai’s silent for a long moment and then his voice, from behind Chuuya, sounds haunting.

“Well, then. Let’s kill them, Chuuya.”

2.  Close

Dazai meets Odasaku and finds something worth greeting the next day over.

There’s a delay as Oda mulls over his answers and whether or not he’ll be truthful — or so Dazai assumes.

“Myself.” Oda finally declares.

Dazai’s heart skips a beat.

3.  Wound

On Chuuya and Corruption, on Dazai and attachment, on both of them and how they're tied together.

“You know it’s quite the opposite. If you want ‘Nakahara Chuuya’ to keep existing, you have to trust me.” Dazai’s voice is quiet and warm and has all of the traits that say ‘trust me’ but Chuuya can only see him as a snake spitting poison.

4. Wind

On Dazai and Odasaku, on quiet moments and finding out a little more about what life might be like.

It’s getting easier and easier to just agree with Dazai. Or maybe, it’s getting easier to spend time with Dazai.

5. Past

Chuuya and Dazai used to be partners, now they're something else.

“I don’t believe that for one moment.”

“I know, but you always trust me in the end, don’t you?”

6. Passed

To the future.
