Chronophobia flag: a flag for those with chronophobia. (link)
Color meanings are as followed, the mauve stripes (topmost and bottommost stripes) represent a sense of fear and dread when thinking about the passage of time, navy blue represents panic attacks and despair that comes from the phobia, slate blue represents recovery, however that may look for oneself, cyan blue represents those who feel as if they have completed their recovery, however that looks to them, and light grey represents those who are unable to recover as of current.

the thanatophobia/chronophobia combo is fucking BRUTAL ngl, and it's been starting to make me develop cosmic anxiety which is fucking stupid....why am i worrying about the heat death of the universe and the inevitability of everything we know ceasing to exist, in like thousands of billions of years??????
it's just so unfair that my brain chose to be afraid of the ONLY things that are completely outside of my control. why can't i be like that woman who's afraid of olives or something??? why can't i be claustrophobic or afraid of heights?????? nope. i fear the only 2 things that there is absolutely nothing i can do anything about. i fucking hate it here
wot the fart do you mean it's the 8th month of this 2026??
*sigh*

Do You Know How Much Time Has Passed?
Time will slip around you like melted butter if you aren't careful. It starts slow. You lose track of time staring out the window, trying to make out what you're seeing across the street, staring at you from under a streetlight.
You feel like it's only been five minutes of lying awake at night, wondering how things got to this point when your morning alarm snaps you out of your thoughts. It always starts innocent, but be careful! Do you know how much time has passed?
You're on the bus going home from school, you look away for a minute and miss your stop by 4 stops. You blink and time lurches forward without you being privy to the events happening around you. Your parents say they're leaving for a quick errand. It's night and the police are asking about the whereabouts of your parents. Do you know how much time has passed?
You lose 20 minutes, you lose 6 hours, you've been locked in this bathroom for 3 days with people knocking on the door, asking you to come out, reassuring you they aren't mad. You know they are.
Time will crush you under its pulse. There are things out there that you will never know, that feed off of this fear. It'll take everything from you until all you have is the ever merciful passage of time.
Chronophobia.
this system of time fucking sucks. i should be able to exist with no start or end and not constrained to a singular current
