I really want more adult only public spaces that aren’t centered around sex or alcohol. I’m sex and romance repulsed, and also personally uncomfortable with alcohol so I can’t do bars and anywhere else I might go in public has screeching children with families.
Why isn’t there a place I can go meet/hang out with other adults where we’re all sober, not trying to date or sleep with each other, and not surrounded by unruly kids? Like I realize it’s probably a very specifically me problem since not every aroace both hates kids and finds drinking uncomfortable, but being repulsed like I am and not wanting to be around drunks makes most spaces that exist without them inaccessible to me. The only thing I even know of besides bars is like. Strip clubs which are an even bigger no for me.
