Cheburashka became a favourite cartoon character for Russians, because of sincere and touching aura, says «Soyuzmultfilm».

Cheburashka brings warmth, kindness and love. The character is wholesome, child-like and beloved by people both in Russia and elsewhere. No one stays indifferent to deep kindness of Cheburashka, — the message reads.

The 3D model seen at the event is similar to one used in ''Secret of the holiday'' cartoon (2020) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13890884), and is a modern 3D of the character.

John and Hank have taught me a lot of things, but most importantly, they have taught me how to be shamelessly passionate about the things that I love.

I have learned from them what it means to give your all to something that makes you happy. And how getting older doesn’t always mean growing up.

They have taught me to stand up and fight for what I believe in and how to do so without the fear of making a fool of myself. I have seen how a community can come together from across the world and I have experienced the power that comes from the respect each and every Nerdfighter holds for John and Hank.

The Vlogbrothers have shown me, and anyone else that have been touched by their work, that it is possible to change the world with some hard work, a sense of adventure, and a little brotherly love.

Devotional for June 11

At that time Jesus prayed this prayer: “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike.” - Matthew 11:25

Insight

Jesus mentioned two kinds of people in his prayer: the “wise and clever,” arrogant in their own knowledge; and the “childlike,” humbly open to receive the truth of God's Word.

Challenge

Are you wise in your own eyes, or do you seek the truth in childlike faith, realizing that only God holds all the answers.

He was a weird kid, or fellow. It was hard to tell his age, everything is his build screamed child, but his eyes gleamed with knowledge older than man himself. It was hard to tell and put me on edge. It (he?) stood only 4 feet tall (pointed ears included) and couldn’t have weighed more than 80 pounds after a good meal. His platinum blonde mop was ragged and frizzed. It was in such a disarray it started to look intentional, a stylistic choice for this young eccentric. Vivid sea foam eyes stood out from his tanned face, sparkling with curiosity and some mischief. His impish grin was almost contagious as he juggled his giant lobster cage, bouncing impatiently in front of you. He wore no top, only a pair of ragged blue-striped pants (stolen from the trash or a sailor no doubt), held up with a sash and some hope. They hung so loosely they had to be tied off at the knees. I found myself stuttering at this detail, as I noticed by knees I meant knee, as his left leg was missing. In its place was a metal contraption that looked too well designed to be home made, but odd in shape. He showed no shyness with my open staring, tail lazily lashing as he waited for me to finish my obvious ogling. I was snapped out of thought as his rather deep voice rang out.
