Typo aside, was this a good metaphor I had 5 years ago? Was I, as the kids these days say, cooking?

Visual metaphors for Qilin relationships, let's go.
Qilin is the lightning. (something that is destructive and shines bright but can only be seen for a short amount of time)
Hen is the thunder. (something/someone that follows the lightning both metaphorically and literally)
Fidorance is the rain cloud. (doesn't necessarily carries either lightning or thunder, but the possibility is always there)
Legia is the storm. (I just feel like a storm fits him. I used to headcanon him and Qilin as exes. A storm is messy, dangerous and is in very close harmony with the lightning. Not the Thunder or the Cloud, though. Both written with capital letters because I mean the individuals.)
Nagyunn is the electricity. (no particular reason once again. Something something the force without the flashy power, the intelligence without the OP ability.)
I'm not adding Laurun because I hate Laurun. (kind of.)
I'm not adding Fadiyan because yeah. But she could be the poor tree strucked by lightning except I shouldn't say that because that sounds freaky and disgusting.
There is something so addictive in finding new ways to give him all of the tools he needs to succeed in bringing about his own long-suffering, slow demise. It can be fun to kill him outright; sure.
I think I'll carefully contruct the labyrinth of smoke and mirrors and let him go mad from his own insecurities instead. Much more satisfying.
I am a very patient man.
And there are so many mirrors hidden in all of this dimly lit haze.
necklaces
I feel like necklaces are really interesting for symbolism. It touches at the heart which could show a person who is more sensitive than tactile, and if you want to use it to represent a bond, then it depends. Is your necklace free flowing even at the charm? Is it moving freely, but with a still charm? Or is it tight and bound? This can represent how the bond flows or how it doesn’t. If it’s free completely, then the bond is flexible but it still stays on. This is the most likely to be mutual. If it’s free but the charm stays still, the bond still can be flexible but it has a standing ground on what it is. If it’s tight and bound at the neck, it’s a strict bond that can be either mutual or strings attached.
I compare my mind to a school of fish
I have thoughts but they swim away before I can catch them, or too many surround me at once, and there's always one playing music, sometimes multiple even, and very rarely I can make song requests but they tend to forget the words or just switch songs randomly, I know fish can't sing but pretend they can for this, it's Finding Nemo now

A little piece I wrote about some things I’m going through. The symbolism is elegiac in nature. Though, interpretations are always welcome.
There are certain metaphors in writing I just can't handle. Like whenever anyone makes I chess metaphor I cannot take it seriously.
Like sorry bro I know you're on your manipulator arc but calling everyone pawns in your chess game is fucking ridiculous.
