I was reminded recently that Niki didn't just wear Wilbur's jacket after he died...
That it's mentioned a few times that Niki and him basically shared jackets during the entirety of the time Niki was in Pogtopia...
And it got me thinking...
What if his jackets weren't the only part of his wardrobe that Wilbur shared?
Niki joined Pogtopia after weeks of being taxed to poverty by Schlatt, she ran there with nothing but the clothes on her back. What if Niki's Pogtopia outfit were clothes from Wilbur that either were small enough to fit Niki or that he just gave to her and allowed her to take in so they would fit her?
Just imagine Niki, after running and joining Pogtopia, knowing her festival outfit wasn't the best choice to fight in but it was the only clothes she had... and then Wilbur gives her some of his. Imagine Niki spending her first night in Pogtopia adjusting his clothes to fit her. Maybe Tommy learned how to sew because he helped her adjust Wilbur's clothes.
Maybe Niki and Wilbur make a habit of stealing clothes - how many of the sweaters Niki wears are actually hers and not ones she stole from Wilbur? How many jackets?
