So she'd be getting asked whether she'd save Andrea (her wife) or Jian (her bestie)

If this is just a silly game of "would you rather" at a house party, she'll be masking her intense discomfort by making some kind of joke about it. Maybe even panicking and saying that she'd pick Andrea because she's already saved Jian too many times, meaning for it to be funny, but instantly regretting it. 😭
