I've always been an all-or-nothing kinda person. Either I do it - and do it well - or don't do it at all. Not sure this attitude is right. Or wrong. Don't think it's either, actually. Situational, more than anything. Much like everything else in life. Today, my legs - shins mostly - felt like lead. The run I was to do with @paatshala at 7pm wasn't looking likely. There was no way my shins could endure any running at all, let alone for 30 mins. So what did I decide? That's right - I decided I wasn't going. While I slumped and pouted on the couch, Rohit walked up to me, held out his hand and said, "Chalo, if you can't run, then walk for 30 mins. Don't even jog; just walk." I'm not kidding when I say this - the thought that I could walk instead of the originally scheduled run hadn't even crossed my mind. All or nothing is how my brain is wired. But I flipped the mental switch, and went. For 30 mins. And ran. π€π½ . .
