Teddy was this close to throwing Chuck up against the nearest wall in the firehouse and kissing her like their whole lives depended on it. She was just being too fucking cute right now, talking about freaking geology.

"No, really. There's like this geological wonder in Scotland or something; it's called something specific, and you can see layers in the rocks." Chuck was sitting cross-legged on one of the sofas in the firehouse loft and talking with her hands. "It has a scientific name, but I can't remember it right now. I heard about it when I watched a QI rerun the other day. Teddy was asleep on the couch."

Teddy dropped down next to her, and Chuck looked in her direction and beamed at her like she was the freaking sun. She didn't know what she and Kris would do without Chuck in their lives.

Well, she did know, probably in deep shit and not happy at all. Who knows, they may have given up and moved back home to her parents, who were convinced they were right. She said that she couldn't do this on her own without Sean.

Chuck, with her blonde curly mess of hair and distinctive birthmark, had saved them when Teddy felt like she was being crushed by all her responsibilities but did not want to ask for help and prove her parents right.

Chuck had somehow just known that she needed help with all the damn red tape in a new place to get child care, a school place, and suddenly she was being invited over to her place (or well, it turns out her absent boyfriend's Andy apartment) to meet some guy called Karl.
