“How may I help you, Young Potter?” the House-elf squeaked.
“Mr. Malfoy,” Albus said, breathlessly. “I need to see him.”
“Mosey? Who is it?”
Albus could have cried with relief as he saw Mr. Malfoy round the corner into the entrance hall. Draco Malfoy looked as bad as Albus felt – if not worse. Purple semi-circles sat like bruises beneath his grey eyes and his hair was thinner and more white than blonde.
“Albus?” said Mr. Malfoy in surprise. “What is it? Is it Scorpius –?”
“No,” said Albus quickly. “No. Not exactly.”
Mr. Malfoy gave him a penetrating stare and Albus wondered, not for the first time, how Draco and Scorpius had the same exact eyes and yet their gaze was entirely different.
“I think you ought to come in,” said Draco.

“My goodness, he’s prompt!” said Delphi, looking delighted.
Delphi walked over to Marcel and he handed her a mirror. For a moment, Scorpius was bewildered. Then he recognized it.
The Two-Way Mirror.
“Scorpius,” said the voice again, raw with pain.
Albus.
“Well, that didn’t take long at all, now did it?” said Delphi, looking into the mirror, her expression one of utter excitement.

Updates
of a Scorbus nature…
Been plotting and outlining and writing a few scenes for a new fic that I’m really excited about. The story will be a little darker, probably rated E, and feature an Albus and Scorpius that do not get along but must work together anyway. Hooray for alternate universes!
Oh, and I’ve been drawing as well. Here’s a glimpse at a very, very, very early Scorpius for the new fic. Do not judge me too harshly; I haven’t made art in a long time so this draft is ROUGH.
And I’ll continue with Albus Potter’s Day Off, too. I know an update is due.

I don’t think I’ve blinked in 5 hours but it’s finished. This is by far my favorite art work I’ve done of them. It’s definitely the most realistic
