Hey everypawdy, it’s RaenaBelle. We sure hope you’ve all had a Blest week. Let me tell ya’, we’ve sure been purrayin’ hard fur the state of our nation. Anyways, it’s Blest Sunday, and we wanna Give Thanky Thanks fur our Blessings this week. Like most weeks there’s been some not so good things…
So Raena, you wanna start countin’ our Blessings by telling all the bad things?
Of course not sissy, you interrupted befur I’s could complete mine’s thought. Kittens, You sure are crabby lately.
Me’s just not felt tippy top Raena. Still, me doesn’t think you should start meowin’ ‘bout Blessings by tellin’ about the bad things.
As I’s meowed sissy, that wasn’t what I’s was doing. But, sometimes Blessings come out of bad things. Mine’s point is that no matter what might be going on, you can always find a Blessing ifin ya’ just look.
That’s true Raena. Our biggest Blessing came at bad times fur mommy. We wouldn’t have a luvvin’ furever home ifin mommy hadn’t lost a kitty.
So true sissy. I’s luvs mommy sooooooooooooo much. Meowin’ of, tomorrow’s mine’s Gotchaday. I’s sure was scared the furst time I’s met mommy. I’s remember the furst words she said to me. She took me in her hands and said “You’re purrfect.” I’s wasn’t so sure about what was happening. I’s was scared to purr or let mine’s guard down, so I just sat stiff in her lap when she took me outta the house of horrors I had been born in. And then I remember her telling me, I’s was safe and that she was gonna luvs me furever as she held me next to her heart. Suddenly, I’s actually felt safe and went limp in her arms and began to purr. I’s just knew everything was gonna be alright. Whatever happened next was gonna be good.

Yeah Raena, me remembers the day she brought your snotty nosed, runny eyed, fluffy hiney home too. It was like you’d never seen a toy, like ever. And you were so full of energy me thought we’d never sleep again. You weren’t always easy to tolerate what with all your spunk and alpha behaviors. But, you turned out not to be so bad after all. And bestest of all, you helped mommy be happy again.
Aaaaaaaaaw Fanky fanks sissy, that’s one of the nicest things you’ve ever meowed to me.
Yeah, yeah, don’t let it go to your head.
And, I’s actually hadn’t ever seen a toy sissy. I’s lived in a teeny cage with mine’s littermates till the day mommy came and got me. I’s had never been outta that cage in the corner. I’s had never had a toy, and you had soooooooo many. (Raena smiles) You also had lots and lots of furiends who welcomed and became mine’s furiends right away. I’s luvs them bunches and bunches. As we always meow, we have the bestest furiends in the universe.
I’s gonna ketch it this time sissy.
Ya’ know, I’s decided not to have a pawrty right now cuz of all the unrest in the world. But, I’s thinkin’ we should maybe plan something fur the end of summer. Hopefully things will start to settle down by then, and peeps and anipals can relax and enjoy a good pawrty.
