                  RaenaBelle!!! The Stacks are me’s gift, me should be the one givin’ the recommendations. (Dezi rolls her eyes) Me was s’posed to get to play in them furst. But Noooooooo, you had to plant your hiney bo right in the middle of everythin’.  

        I’s was just re-assertin’ mine’s status as Alpha Princess sissy. Besides, I’s don’t have cooties, and I’s let you check out the upper levels furst. 

                  After you’d already been playin’ in ‘em while mommy was tryin’ to figger out how to put ‘em together. Me heard mommy tell ya’ to get outta the way several times. You know, she ain’t the crispest cracker in the box, and assembly isn’t always her strong suit.    

        I’s was helpin’ sissy. She had to take a few of the boxes apart a couple of times cuz she messed up. And then, she needed me to give her a little nurse attention cuz she got several box cuts.   

                  Box cuts? What in the world are you meowin’ ‘bout?  

        Well sissy, there wasn’t any paper, so they can’t be paper cuts. Therefur, we’re callin’ ‘em box cuts. Several fingers were affected, fanky fankfully, she didn’t get any blood on our new Stacks.  

                  Well Raena, truth is, there wasn’t that much blood. However, we would recommend takin’ a little extra time when assembling the Stacks to avoid said box cuts. Much like paper cuts, these box cuts seem to hurt a lot more than one would think. Anyways, the Stacks can be assembled in many different ways. They come with a small piece that transforms into a bridge of sorts. Mommy did connect a couple of the Stacks with said bridge and decided to take it out due to our size and…well…weight. Mommy thinks the “bridge” would be more appropriate fur kittens and small cats. We tend to agree. 

        Yeah sissy, even I’s wouldn’t check out the bridge. So, mommy took out the bridge and stacked our Stacks on top of each other. Each box has pre purrfurated holes in two sizes to accommodate smaller and/or larger kitties like ourselves. Mommy enlarged a couple of holes and left some in tact so we could have a solid bottom to sit on. The Stacks have “clips” that help to secure them in place. Mommy wasn’t sure they were gonna work, but they do a purretty good job.  

  Quit tryin’ to take the clips off Raena!!!

                Yeah, so long as you leave ‘em alone Raena. The clips are fur safety, they’re not toys silly. 

        Purrlease sissy, don’t you know everything’s a toy? Life is an adventure waitin’ to happen.

Tell All Tuesday: Scruffy Paws Health Bites

Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle. I’s comin’ to ya’ live from the Three Belles Ranch. And let me tell ya’, we’re waterlogged and tired of the cold already. All I’s can meow is that mommy better get that heating mat down and quick. Just cuz she gets hot flashes doesn’t mean we all do.

                    RaenaBelle, why are you bein’ so dramatic? Ya’ sound more like you’re fixin’ to tell a story then relatin’ the truth.   

        Well sissy, I’s thought this weather was purretty dramatic. Your exit down the hallway to your hidin’ spot unner the bed was purrety dramatic too.  

            How many times does me have to tell ya’, me’s not hidin’, me’s checkin’ fur intruders. 

    Well sissy, I’s just find it strange that the only time you do that is when it storms.  

                   Shows what you know Raena. Bugs and spiders and such start tryin’ to get inside more when it storms. And, they get really bad when it starts gettin’ cold.    

  Okay sissy, whatever you meow. Anyways, I’s was lookin’ at somethin’ on the computer this past week and quite frankly, I’s got a little purrturbed. You know, us kitties are amazing creatures. We’re smart and loyal and loving. We’re certainly well behaved and devoted to mommy. And yet, the innernet is full of so called funny pics, stories and ads claimin’ we’re purrsnikety, aloof, destructive and unfeeling. I’s gotta tell ya’, I’s tired of peeps purrtrayin’ us as the bad seeds. Nuffin’ could be further from the truth.   

  Don’t make me laugh!!! Oh right, ya’ didn’t!!!

                Yeah Raena, mommy gets purretty riled up over those same things. Just ‘magine how humans would feel ifin we kitties could work the flashy box. We’d be snappin’ fotos of them sittin’ on the human pawtty box and postin’ ‘em online. Do ya’ think they’d find that funny? Come on peeps, a little privacy, purrleeeease.   

  Funny? Cute?

      Or, we made a commercial implyin’ all humans were lazy, dumb, dirty, lyin’ cheats. How long do ya’ think it’d be befur humans rose up to protest sissy? 

            Well Raena, they certainly wouldn’t be laughin’. Me’s been thinkin’, we oughtta pull some of those “funny” fotos and stories and give a feline’s purrspective on ‘em, what do ya’ think?  

          I’s like it sissy. I’s think that’s a great plan. We could call it, A kitty’s purrspective of human humor.

                Uh, well Raena, why don’t we think on that. In the meantime, me will link us up with Comedy Plus fur Feline Furiday.

                    The pig trough RaenaBelle? What pig trough are you meowin’ ‘bout?  

  I’s don’t know sissy. It sounded good, okay? Anyways, a couple of weeks befur we moved back home from the hotel, we were contacted by Yaheetech from amazon and asked ifin we’d review one of their cat trees. You know how much we luvs our cat tree, so sissy and me were like, yeah mommy, tell ‘em yeah. Besides, I’s thought it would make a great birthday/gothcaday purresent too. 

                  Yeah Raena, me was all in too. But, mommy bein’ the good mommy she is, she had to check out their trees furst. Mommy knows, that we’re kind’a larger girly girls just by the nature of our breed. And, a lot of the pre made cat trees aren’t sturdy enuff or big enuff fur larger kitties like us.   

        That’s true sissy. Well, after checkin’ out their cat trees, mommy decided on the middle sized one, the Yaheetech 62” Cat Tree. She said it had a nice big base that should make it more stable fur those times when we come flyin’ thru the ranch and leap to the top. Somethin’ we’ve yet been able to do what with all the boxes and stuffs every where.   

                    Me can’t wait till mommy gets everythin’ put away so we can really check out it’s sturdiness, Raena. Mommy says the average pre made cat tree is really only good fur kittens and adult cats less than 8 pounds who aren’t overly active. So, she had her fingers crossed this tree would work fur us.

      It arrived while we were still at the hotel, so mommy left it packed up till we got home. Assembly is required, but everythin’ ya’ need is included in the box. There’s an instruction booklet with drawings, and each piece is labeled with corresponding letters. It does indeed have a nice large base and it also has a security strap that you can use to attach it to the wall behind it. Just be careful when you put it together to make sure you follow the pictures or your security strap will be on the wrong side…like ours. MOL

                Yeah well Raena, mommy never claimed to be a put it together genius. And, it only took ‘bout an hour fur her to get it all put together and moved into a spot in front of a window. It will purrobably take your humans less time, cuz mommy had to keep takin’ breaks and restin’. Not to mention, she had to move things around a bit fur it to fit. It is larger than expected, which is a good thing and means more stability.  

        Naturally, bein’ cats, we were all over the individual pieces getting in the way helpin’ out while mommy worked tirelessly putting it together. But once it was finished, we didn’t seem to notice. Of course, we eventually tried it out. There is a small dangle toy attached to the top shelf with a piece of elastic, that we recommend you cut off immediately. This is a hanging hazard, especially fur young kittens. Kitties should never be left unsupervised with these dangly toys that come attached to most cat trees and some other cat toys. Mommy removed ours after the supervised foto shoot fur this review.

                Yeah Raena, those dangle toys sure are dangerous. Me nearly hung me’s self when me was a wee kitty girl. The tree’s great without it. And me does mean great. There’s 4 stable shelves and a cubby house that makes a great nappin’ spot. The tippy top basket is a bit small and we’re not sure why they even bothered with the circular tunnel cubby unner the top shelf, but all in all, there’s purrlenty of room fur just ‘bout any size house cat. And mommy really ‘purreciates the security strap and says it would come in handy fur those extremely active kitties.

      I’s sure glad you didn’t hang yourself sissy. Anyways, the tree’s made of a low pile plush carpet with sisal rope wrapped ‘round the suppurrt legs, a sisal mat built into the base and a sisal pedestal on the top shelf. Whether kitty’s a vertical or horizontal scratcher, this cat tree can satisfy both. We took a vote and decided to give the Yaheetech 62” Cat Tree 3 paws up and mommy gives it a thumb up. The price of $65.99 is purretty reasonable fur a nice size cat tree. And you know every kitty deserves their very own cat tree, right? Guess I’s gonn go finish mine’s brekky now and maybe spend a little time on the tree later. See ya’ll soon.
