Back in April, I posted a Joseph Campbell quote pointing out that if the path is made for you, it’s not your path—and here’s this week’s podcast guest elaborating on that same idea. The only path for you is the one you take yourself, where you find your own way, the things that work for you and the things that don’t. It might have a good bit in common with someone else’s path, but even if it does, there will be parts of it that are all yours. The trap lies in believing that your way should look like someone else’s—that if yours is a little different, you must be doing it wrong. (Be honest—you know exactly what I’m talking about! That feeling of, “Wait, are you sure? Am I sure? Maybe I got it wrong. That thing doesn’t feel right to me, but it seems to be working for you...maybe I didn’t try hard enough. Maybe I did it wrong. Maybe I’M wrong...”)⠀ .⠀ Go find your own path to the things that matter most to you in this life. And stay tuned on Wednesday for more!⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀
