You answer to me was about playing video games so I’ll do the same!
I love playing video games but haven’t really given myself much time since before undergrad. I’ve tried to play a lot more this past year. Since November I’ve I think I’ve played and finished ten different games and have played at least 8 or 10 other games as well!
Most recently I’ve been working through the Bioshock series for the first time. As of last night I finished Bio2 and I think I’m halfway through the Minerva’s Den DLC. (I am also proud of this because I am the biggest chicken shit there is. I know Charlie can, will, and has confirmed this fact before, LMAO! Despite this, besides a few times I got spooked, the games aren’t scary to me, haha!)

Yeah, thanks to @faequill I was able to watch a nice Detroit play through. I honestly wish Kelsey would play it! Like how her and Zack did Until Dawn? I re-watch that every couple of weeks - love that play through!
The basic premise is that it’s the ~-~future~-~ and Ryan’s working at a very different kind of Buzzfeed. Mainly in that they focus more on in-depth location pieces, versus like ‘let’s try 20 different types of chicken nuggets’ and what have you.
Ryan - in particular - is geared towards working the Underside. As time has progressed and anti-grav tech has improved, more and more people have moved their homes/business/what-have-yous off ground. The Underside is closer to the actual ground and it’s kind of...gross, abandoned, and spooky.
Mental health has also become more paramount in this future and when Ryan’s latest psych-eval comes in, her receives a red marker. Red markers are actual currency that can be turned in for one - and only one purpose - to acquisition an artificial companion. Kind of like a support person!
Ryan is SUPER upset/embarrassed about it, but his boss (in this world, one Eugene Yang) waves it off, because almost everyone has one now a days. Ryan reluctantly goes down to Buzzfeed’s provided R&D department, run by annoyingly-too-cute-couple Sara Rubin/Kelsey Impicciche to get himself a bot!
...and that’s most of the sketchy outline of the first chapter! I tell you this because, yeah, I’d be stoked to see you draw a robo!Shane - lolololol...
