Daveigh Elizabeth Chase. (July 24, 1990 – June 16, 2026) was an American actress. cast as Samantha Darko in Richard Kelly's cult film Donnie Darko.Annie .
She was an Award-winning singer, and voice-over artist. Chase is best known for her roles as Lilo Pelekai in Disney's Lilo & Stitch (1998) and Chihiro Ogino in the American version of the Japanese animated film Spirited Away (2001). She won an Annie Award for her voice acting as Lilo in 2003. Chase also played Samara Morgan in The Ring (2002) and won the 2003 MTV Movie Award for Best Villain
