Tomato kurma side dish-dosa,idli and chappathi is easy and simple.This is a quick,5 mins recipe for bachelors too. No veggies required other than tomato,onion and coconut.If no coconut avoid that step alone.This is quite simple to prepare for family. Consistency can also be easily adjusted.At the same time while watching Tv you can prepare it.This is tasty and tangy too. Tomato kurma can be used as side dish for dosa,idli and chappathi.Tastes can be easily adjusted.Lets start our preparation below. Tomato Kurma Side dish-Dosa Preparation:
First of all make a paste of tomato,coconut and fennel seeds. Next in a pan add oil and then add chopped onions in it. Now add ginger garlic paste into it. Then add green chillies to this mixture. Finally add masala powder mixture to this pan. After saute for 2 mins add those coconut paste here. Now add salt and sugar for tangy taste. Cook for 4 whistles and switch off it. Finally garnish with curry leaves and serve.
Tomato Kurma
4 tbsp Gingely Oil1 no Big Onion (big size)2 no Green Chilli1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste3 no Tomato (medium size)5 no Grated Coconut Pieces1 tbsp Fennel Seeds1 tbsp Cumin Powder1/4 tbsp Garam Masala powder1/2 tbsp Corriander Powder1/2 tbsp Chilli Powder1 tbsp Corriander leaves chopped. In a Pressure cooker add oil.After oil gets heated,add chopped onions to it.Now add ginger garlic paste to this onions.After raw smell goes off,add green chilli to it.At the same time,add tomatoes,coconut pieces and fennel seeds in mixer.Grind well by adding some amount of water.After the chillies get satue,add chilli powder to it.Now add turmeric powder to it.After that add corriander powder,garam masala to it.Now add cumin powder and salt to this mixture.Finally add the tomato coconut paste to this cooker.Mix well and then add salt if needed.Finally give them 4 whistles to cook.At last,adjust the consistency and then add corriander leaves to it.Now tomato kurma is ready to taste.
