I think the arm thing is plausible either way. And depending on my mood when writing, I might decide one inky is fine while another isn't. It makes sense that the mark has done irreversible damage to the inquisitor, that was some seriously powerful magic after all. But damn it all if that isn't angsty.
Definitely.  Definitely.  I mean, Solas doesn’t know everything, dang it.  And it’s not as if there’s likely to be a ton of precedent for a mortal wearing an Evanuri’s (crap did I spell that right?) power around.  We can make shit up to suit ourselves in peace for a good while now, and I fully intend to.
I'm not reblogging cause there are people who follow me who don't blacklist but I wanted to talk about your most recent solas posts. He says the veil coming back will make the world burn and then he will start a new. I dont think the veil itself will kill, it will be the chaos after. And I thought he maybe did save the inky - he says he drew you there to save you, for now. For now meaning that she/he will die later anyway due to his actions. That was my interepation anyway.
I totally agree that that’s what it feels like to me.  I mean, the repercussions of the destruction of the Veil are ENORMOUS.  But I don’t think that race-specificity is one of them, you know?  I still think that if saving you from the Mark was as simple as amputation, though, he would have said so. Â
