Even someone like Makoto needs a break from the hustle and bustle of the city once in a while. Typically, she spends that break time holed up in her home streaming whateverâs hot on Spiralflix or buying things in the Fox Village, but todayâs work brought her to the Archimedes Ward. Saviorâs Respite is nearby, but Makoto hasnât been back there since she nearly had a heart attack thanks to someone who couldnât understand subtext but who could fly off of a cliff.
Hopefully sheâs not there right now.
It doesnât take Makoto too long to reach the top of the trail, and the flowers that surround the path and the sun beginning to set over the city provide a view that canât even be replicated by Fibonacciâs highest towers. Maybe itâs not too bad a place after all.
Makoto leans against a nearby tree, letting the dayâs fatigue finally settle on her shoulders. Here, in a place where she can relax, she rolls her shoulders and lets out a yawn before her ears prick with the sound of approaching footsteps. Itâs a young woman- probably around her age, and Makoto gives her a friendly smile before turning her gaze back out to the city.Â
âReally canât beat the view, huh? I used to like the observation decks in Fibonacci, but this is a lot quieter. I got sensitive hearing, you know?â she says, gesturing to the furry ears atop her head. âBut enough about me. What brings a gal like you all the way up here?â
