Youtube is acting like this is for the betterment of the children, but it's all a flimsy excuse to force the people, the people who have been putting up with all this bullshit, into handing over even more of our info!
If this keeps happening and being normalized than privacy as a consept is simply laughable! Other companies are already planning and putting in simular measures as well!
If it was for the betterment of the children than maybe they'd actually put an effort into removing the porn bots that have been putting links to CP in comments!!
Everybody is sick of this shit, all we want is a quality service, without having to hand over everything about ourselves, it also infantalises a lot of people, the people who might have interests in characters that are for children! Infantalises the people who simply like watching videos talking about things such as Sonic or Mario or FoP!!
Its also dangerous as who knows where your information might end up, and if a data breach happens, you could get your location doxed, and your personal safety put into massive amounts of danger!
The people are sick of the big companies shoving us around, like we don't matter, but we need to stand up and show them all that we certainly do!!
