when will shuts up mike (with a kiss) in the isolation cabin after they argue about the lights being on or off, and they’re making out for a bit, i was thinking back to how will falls asleep during this.

my first thought was that will feels so completely comfortable and safe with mike that he was basically lulled to sleep by mikes presence and kissing him.

how i kinda read it was that although from mikes pov he was rightfully like “is he seriously falling asleep right now”, mike is unknowing to the fact that he has achieved a level of intimacy with will that neither of them are really aware of (feeling sleepy because someone makes you feel particularly safe and comfortable)

i was basically wondering if that’s kinda what you guys were wanting to convey through him falling asleep during this part in the fic? this is how i interpreted it, and i wasn’t sure if we are gonna get a deeper look/brief explanation at any point into why will fell asleep here. so just thought i’d ask, to see if the way i kinda interpreted it is how it was meant to be interpreted during that part.

Max raises her eyebrows at the two of them as they approach. “Ready, lovebirds?” She says, leaning back against the door so it opens, just a crack. It’s obvious that she knows what their answer is - she’s already practically forcing them out of the diner, for God’s sake - but they give her a nod anyway, lest she rip their heads off for not gracing her with an answer.

The evening air is heavy with late summer humidity, hanging over them like a tangible thing, and before Will pushes him away in an effort to stay cool, Mike leans over to whisper into the shell of his ear, “Wanna come over tonight?”

Will jerks away, cheeks bright pink, and Mike doesn’t think his question warrants that kind of reaction, but he supposes it may have been a bit out of the blue. Will looks at him for a moment - eyes bouncing just about everywhere on Mike’s face before settling, for just a split second, on his eyes - and then a shy smile grows on his face as he ducks his head down and away from Mike. It’s quiet, almost silent, so Mike can see more than hear the word okay on his lips.

Ch04:  I <3 Food!!

Food is probably my second most favorite thing after theatre. Bottom line, I absolutely love food!

Now what I’m about to say isn’t really “dreamy” but… Even a Takarasienne can’t live on thin air (1) – one can’t survive, let alone sing or dance [without a proper meal]. Food is what makes the body, after all.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a crowded yakiniku restaurant or a cozy onabe joint; Whether I’m lunching alone or at a diner [with friends]…It’s all good to me. It’s also nice cooking for myself using my favorite ingredients and flavoring.  I always feel pleased afterwards.

But of course – Mom’s cooking is always best!

When Mom comes to see me perform, she would bring fresh vegetables from home and we’ll cook all sorts of side dishes together in high spirits. We always make more than we need but its fine since the sight of all that food never fails to make me hungry.  Just thinking of all the stuff I want to cook brings me to tears.

Well, I’m the type to just keep on eating.  I always wind up having seconds in the end.  A healthy stomach is a full stomach!

Great, now I’m about to cry for a totally different reason…
