Tori leaned on the barâs counter, and stirred her drink idly, and wondered whether it was worth it to make some sort of excuse to leave, even if she was having a decent time. The good news was that Finn still didnât suspect a thing even if Tori sometimes acted unusually (for her) around him. The bad news was that he seemed to be under the impression that they were friends. Which... was fine, she supposed, because he seemed like exactly the kind of person that she would enjoy hanging out if he wasnât her half-brother. She went through this internal dialogue in her head every single time they ended up in the same place.
âDonât look over your shoulder just yet, but I think the person at the end of the bar just tried to pour their huge drink into a Nalgene bottle, but reconsidered it.â She winced, and then looked down at her drink again, so it wouldnât be too suspicious. âOkay... You can look now-- theyâre trying again.â She snorted a poorly-concealed laugh, hoping that it was just as absurd a sight as the first time.
