He nodded at her suggestion to get some Kool-Aid. âMaybe it wasnât exactly spicy,â Atticus continued. âIt had a weird spicy-like taste. You know, it could have been the artificial ingredients. Now that I think about it.â He frowned, stopping as Tori grabbed one of his items of the shelf. âDo you make dinner a lot?â Atticus asked her. âOr do you usually order out? Just wondering, since youâre mostly getting basic stuff.â
âSpicy... That probably makes sense. I donât really get food science, but it sure makes some interesting combinations.â Tori did not understand science-y science so much to begin with either. Eh, food science was probably a mystery to most people. âI usually make dinner. But since I live alone, when I cook, itâs like cooking for four Toris. Most of what Iâm missing is the basics, honestly. I always run those down to the minimum and then have to get it urgently. Oh, but ordering out sounds really good right now...
