Small Cerys idolizes Ciri, who is a few years older than her (Same age as Hjalmar). “Just five minutes... maybe six.” Cery mumbled with her eyes closed. A leg crossed Johann’s, and an arm embraced his body. Her head rested on his bare chest.
“You have said that for the seventh time this morning, Cery.” He frowned at the clock. They were supposed to get up an hour ago.
“Mmh. Only five, darling...”
She held onto him like her human pillow. Johann let out a sigh. How did they end up waking up late every day, when they had agreed to be up at six in the morning for training? Johann had pictured a perfect life together with Cery, and it started with a jog every early morning. Then they would stop at her friend KyKy’s coffee shop for some drinks, and make breakfast together.
But somehow, they always stayed in bed much longer than expected.
How did he spoil her to the point he actually stayed in bed with her until she got up? He had indulged himself, and her, too much.
This must stop, Johann thought. He tried to get up but Cery only clang onto him tighter.
“We need to get up now, Cery.”
Her eyelids were slowly lifted.
“No.” She answered, then buried her face in his chest again.
“Alright.” Johann said in a serious voice. “This is my last warning. Are you going to wake up?”
“Nooooo.”
With the strength of determination, Johann rose his body up and turned Cery around. She was under him. Her eyes opened in surprise.
“Wha-”
He rolled to the other side of the bed and got up on his feet. Then without a word, he carried the sleepy Cery in his arms and took her out of the bedroom.
“What are you doing, Johann? Let me down! Let me go back to my bed! I want to sleep!!!”
“Jogging, my dear. The weather is perfect for a work out today.”
“Holy dragons! Let me back to sleep! JOHANN CHU!!!! I WANT MY BED!...”
That morning, everyone in the neighborhood was surprised to see a half-naked handsome young man carrying his girlfriend in her sleeping gown; they ran through the streets and she was screaming along the way.
