My goddessâŠ
Random but have a hc of mine:
Damien had a crush on both Actor Mark and William but didnât confess to either because of Celine. Then, when Actor Mark and Celine got married, he was going to tell William. Sadly, before he did, news of Celine and Willâs affair reached him. He would of gotten with Actor Mark but thoughts flooded his head that Actor Mark would just force his feelings of Celine onto him, so he didnât end up with either of them.
SOMEONE LOVE HIM
HOT DAMN THAT HURTS
The New Year
I didnât finish this in time to post this on New Years, but I hope yâall enjoy nontheless
â
Empty hallways bend and warp with flickering candlelight, and Celine walks alone. Mostly alone, at least. Thereâs a cold, grasping presence lurking in the shadows, watching ever vigilantly over her. Over all of them. She walks into the next room. It looks like a battlefield, destroyed and riddled with corpses of old friends, leaning on one another, clutching to one another, laying in a field of spilled booze and broken glass that shines like gems in her candlelight.
The hem of her robe grazes the floor as she walks. Glass breaks under her slippers, crunching like fallen leaves. When she sees him, sleepily letting his flask spill in his lap, she kneels down. William, her perfect William. A flower that would never wither even with age or injury or inebriation. She sets down the candle.
Gently, she shakes him awake.
He jolts and looks about in panic, but when he sees Celine, it flattens out into a dreamy, peaceful look in his honey eyes. He fixes his glasses.
âGood morning,â he slurs, breath reeking of booze. Celine slips the flask from his fingers, and takes a deep sip.
âHappy New Year, my darling.â Their foreheads touch, and Williamâs arms wrap around her and pull her close, both of them trying to hush their laughter to not wake the others in the room. Out of the corner of her eye, she sees Mark passed out with a cheek against the window, breaths fogging the glass.
Celine looks back to her one true love and says; âYouâre forgetting something.â
His smile never falters.
âWhat would that be, dear?â
âMy New Years kiss.â
âBully! I can fix that quick!â
William pulls her close and presses his lips to hers, kissing her soundly and balling his fists in the silk of her robe. His mustache scratches in a way sheâs familiar with, and she canât help but to lean into every part of the kiss, tugging his hair and nipping at his lips until they pull apart, panting and giggling. She leans back, only to have William grab her by the arm.
âWhat is it?â
âIâve been meaning to ask you this, but Iâve never had the time, or the opportunityâŠâ he glances to where Mark is passed out, and takes a deep breath, âWhat I was going to say- what I wanted to ask was⊠I want you to run away with me.â
She blinks in shock, and William freezes up.
âIâll take you away from this house Cece. I know you hate this place, if you come with me we can go somewhere else, far, far away, that cabin in the forest- I know weâre not married and itâs not proper but I canât bare the thought of you being in this place a moment longer-â
âWill, Will. Calm down. Okay?â He takes a few breaths, and Celine kisses his cheek. Her thoughts trail back to the house, being carried over the threshold on her wedding day, all the parties that she used to love, the dark, persistent presence, and Mark. Mark, who was unrecognizable, bathed in shadow and secrecy, so, so far from the man she fell in love with. The old Mark was dead, but that Mark would want her to be happy.
Celine lets out a breath she wasnât aware she was holding, heart pounding in anticipation.
âAre we leaving right now?â
William barks out a surprised laugh, âIf you want to.â
âI do.â
In one smooth motion, he sweeps her into his arms and stands, grabbing her candle and carrying her out of the battlefield of broken glass, the bodies slumped over and bathing in shadow, faces nearly unrecognizable. They were back in the hall again, wrapped in a halo of light. He sets Celine down and she runs up the stairs to her and Markâs room, rushing around the room to grab everything she needed to take with her- a bag was soon filled with her dresses, a bit of makeup, a brush and a toothbrush, and a bit of cash she knew Mark wouldnât miss, would never miss.
She left her wedding ring on the dresser, next to their wedding photo. He would understand.
Bag in hand, she runs down the stairs to find her William again, smiling that ridiculous, bright smile, glasses skewed and hair in his face. The candlelight makes him look heavenly. She smiles, and takes one of his big, calloused hands in her own. His thumb grazes over her fingers, and she knows he can feel the absence of that ring.
Hand in hand, they walk out the door of the mansion. It hadnât snowed yet, thankfully. As they start to walk, she looks back, one last time. Mark is standing in the window, very much awake, with the shadow draping over him, grasping at the fabric of his suit, freezing his breath to the windowsill.
William gently pulls at her. She follows, and leaves it all behind in the year before.
Love isâŠ
Taking the chance to be silly just to see her eyes light up.

Love you just as much
The three were childhood friends. They lived in the same street, studied in the same school, were friends and were always together.
They liked each other very, very much.
âDamien?â
The little boy looked up from their game, frowning.
âWhat mom?!â he whined, not liking to be disturbed by his mother when he was playing monopoly with his friends. She walked inside then, and he grinned, and so did the other two.
âI made popcorn for my favorite boysâ she said and put the three bowls down with a cup of juice next to each bowl. Damien kissed her cheek quickly and turned back to the other two.
âThanks aunt Lisa!â the two other boys said together, grabbing their handfuls of popcorn and putting it inside their mouths. Damien made a face and took a few popcorns.
âYou two are grossâ he said, and Mark raised his eyebrow before laughing.
âTell us how we are supposed to do it then, mayor?â he raised his eyebrow and Damienâs cheeks puffed.
âYes I shall!â he said and stood up with his bowl of popcorn on his hands. William giggled, wrapping his little legs and arms around his own bowl as he watched Damien making a speech and slowly popping a few popcorns in his mouth.
Once he was done, William clapped, giggling, while Mark laughed.
âBooooooâ he screamed and threw popcorn at Damien, who gasped and frowned, angrily. âYou are a terrible mayor!â
âShut up!â Damien whined and threw his entire bowl over Mark, making him gasp and stand up. He brushed the popcorn off and yelled, jumping over Damien and ending up with the two rolling around and âfightingâ as William watched silently, eyes wide, eating his popcorn.
His friends were the best.
-----
âI think I like boysâ
Mark and Damien looked up, eyes wide, never having expected that a simple game of spin the bottle would get so⊠personal.
Okay, they were fifteen and already drunk as fuck, but still.
âWhat?â Damien mumbled out, and William was hiding behind a pillow, his cheeks red, his eyes just a bit teary (maybe a lot).
âI-I think I-I li-like boys⊠tooâ he mumbled, against the pillow, biting his bottom lip. He had been hiding it for so long⊠he didnât want to lie to his friends. His friends deserved to know. Even if they would never be friends again.
They would be so grossed out of having him inside their house like this, sitting on their bed, eating their food, drinking their alcohol, only to get drunk enough to be able to tell.
Okay maybe he was crying.
âBut⊠what about Celine? You said you liked herâ Mark said, only to receive a slap from Damien.
âThatâs why he said âtooâ, idiot! He likes boys and girlsâ he said and Mark frowned.
âWow⊠Lucky. He has like the entire world to choose fromâ
Will blinked his teary eyes upon hearing that but froze when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
âHey Will. Itâs okayâ Damien said, and slowly the pillow was pulled away and William sniffled, looking at them with his face red from crying. Damien smiled softly at him as Mark raised his eyebrow. âThatâs like, totally normalâ
âYeah..?â
âYeah!â he grinned. âI am in the studentâs council and believe me thatâs what we mostly receive of problems. Kids that arenât accepted for what they are. Thatâs my job really, talk to the principal to find a solution!â he said and smiled fondly. âBesides, you are my best friend. I will always love you no matter whatâ
âUnless you kill someoneâ
Damien rolled his eyes at Markâs remark and opened his arms.
âI want a hugâ he said, and Will smiled through his drying tears, laughing and pulling both Damien and Mark for a hug. Mark hummed and smiled, closing his eyes and tightening his hold on his friends, while Will laughed between them, rubbing his eyes and relaxing.
At least he still had his friends.
------
âBoys!â
The three of them turned around, wide grins growing in their faces as they opened their arms to the girl, who ran all the way from the car, jumping on them and laughing.
âCeline!â Damien said happily, hugging her and being hugged by the other two men who were hugging her too. He put her down, grinning, and she pecked each one of the three quickly, grinning widely.
âI missed my three knights so much!â she squealed, jumping in place and then grabbing their hands. âCome with me! I have so much to tell you three about Paris, it is wonderful! You guys have to go there one day! And how is college?! Ugh I couldnât want to come back!â
She kept talking and talking as they went to her house. Once there, she took them to her room and pushed the three on the bed before laying over them, humming and thinking.
âWe should throw a partyâ
The three looked at her from down, and hummed.
âYeah sure. Who should we invite?â Mark asked, a list of friends from theatre already forming inside his head. She laughed and shook her head.
âNo one! Just the four of us, food and a lot of boozeâ she said and the three raised their eyebrows.
âSounds good to meâ Damien shrugged.
âCouldnât think of a better party, eh?â Will grinned, and Mark hummed.
âWe need drinks thoughâ he said and Celine smirked widely, before sliding off their laps and humming a tune. The three men sat up, looking at her, and she opened her closet, showing off her dresses, before pushing them away and opening a secret door filled with the most variable drinks, leaving the men with their mouths open.
âWowâ Will mumbled and she giggled.
âBe merry boysâ she giggled and closed the door and window, putting on loud music and turning on only her lampâs light.
They begun slow, just a few drinks here and there and a lot of talking, but soon they were getting dirty and making questions and telling secrets. So many secrets. They were laughing and Damienâs perfect hair was everywhere, Markâs shirt was open, Willâs glasses were nowhere to be seen and Celine was laughing like a mad woman.
And then, the eventual spin the bottle came to play, of course.
There were already out of it. They were doing dares and saying truths. But Damien was watching everything closely. And when it was his turn to dare, he turned to Celine, and smirked, the plan too good in his blessed out mind.
âI dare youuu to kiss Will⊠full on mouthâ he said, grinning widely and making the man who was called out widen his eyes and look at him. Celine raised her eyebrow and then smirked slowly.
âOh⊠okayâ she giggled and looked at Will, who was now staring back at her, his eyes wide and cheeks redder than only from the drinks. She hummed and wiggled her butt as she crawled to him, the four of them sitting on her bed. Will swallowed thick, moving back a little as she came forward, until his back hit the headboard and she was way too close, barely sitting on his lap. âWhat is it, Willy? Are you afraid of me?â
âC-Celineâ he mumbled, staring at her with wide, vulnerable eyes, and she hummed, lifting one hand to his cheek.
âRelaxâ she whispered and leaned down, closing her eyes and pressing their lips together. Damien grinned, eyes bright, and Mark made a loud sound, laughing, even though something inside them both tugged hard.
William, in the other hand, was freaking out.
His eyes closed by instinct, she clearly wasnât the first woman he had ever kissed. But something from within him arose whenever she was near, something he hadnât felt with any other girl, that consumed him and made him feel as if he was in the sky.
Slowly, he grew used to it, the alcohol making him forget his thoughts and enjoy the moment. His arms went to her waist and he pulled her closer until she was sitting on his lap, their kiss growing intense and deep and oh so wonderful.
They had never felt so complete.
And then, she touched his face, and everything came back to him, running.
Will pushed her away, shaking, eyes wide, and jumped off the bed, opening the door of the room and running to the bathroom, where he closed the door and breathed hard and deep.
Celine was left looking at the wall, her eyes wide and confused, heart warm and a little painful. Damien looked between her and Mark before he jumped up and rushed after his friend, looking around and following the sobbing sounds from the bathroom.
âWill?â
âLeave me alone!â came the sobbing response. Damien bit his bottom lip and opened the door slowly, walking inside and closing it behind himself, looking down at his friend who was curled up next to the toilet, crying against his hands.
He slowly kneeled next to William, holding his shoulder. That only made him sob louder, curling up against himself.
âWillâŠâ
âWhyâ he whimpered, hiccupping and looking up slowly, tears sliding down his bloodshot eyes. âWhy did you do it? Was it to humiliate me? To destroy me once and for all? You knew I loved her!â
âI-I thought⊠I thought you wanted itâŠâ Damien mumbled, biting his bottom lip as Will stared at him with utter heartbreak and anger.
âI never wanted her to kiss me while we were drunk because of a stupid game!â he screamed and hiccupped again. âI canât believe youâŠâ
âIâm sorry alright?! Fuckâ he mumbled and sat down next to Will, his own eyes burning. He rubbed them as if he was tired and looked up at the ceiling. âIâm sorry⊠I did what I thought you would enjoyâŠâ
âI wouldnât be able to enjoy it anywayâ
Damien frowned and slowly looked at him. Will was quiet now, rubbing his eyes.
âWhy not?â
âShe⊠isnât the only one I love. It would⊠feel like cheatingâ
Damien blinked.
âWhat?â
âI just⊠I donât love her only okay?!â Will said, nervously, looking away and staring at the shower. âYou wouldnât understandâŠâ
âI⊠Actually I think I just mightâ
William opened his mouth to disagree before he stopped and analyzed that statement, his eyes widening as he looked back at Damien.
âYou⊠you whatâ he mumbled, shakily, and Damien chuckled, shaking his head and staring at him.
âI think I know exactly what you meanâ he said and chuckled, his eyes tearing up. âItâs so⊠confusing at first. God I thought I was mad⊠then I wondered if I truly liked anyone at all but it felt so much like⊠likingâ he laughed awkwardly. âGod I feel like a stupid teenagerâ
âKeep talkingâ Will said, and Damien looked at him again, biting his lip.
âI⊠Okayâ he mumbled. âI like Celine too⊠like you do and like Mark does⊠But I⊠I also like⊠youâŠâ
William blinked slowly and Damien blushed. At least their tears had stopped.
âDamien?â
âYeah?â
âI like you tooâ
Damienâs eyes widened but he had no moment to process anything.
Will launched himself forward and held Damienâs face, pressing their lips together and closing his eyes. Damien gasped before he felt his heart warming and he closed his eyes, sliding his hands to Willâs waist and kissing him back.
-------
âW-what did I do wrong?â
âNothingâ Mark said, shrugging at Celine, who was sitting on his lap, laying over his shoulder.
âBut he⊠ran awayâ she mumbled and he sighed.
âWilliam had a crush on you. A bad oneâ he shrugged. âItâs fine though. He will recoverâ
âAre you⊠sure?â she mumbled, blushing as she thought of Will liking her. But even if she loved the image, something was⊠missing.
âYeah yeah, he is a tough guyâ he said and smiled, looking at her and brushing their noses together. âWant more wine, little witch?â
âYeahâ she mumbled, sighing, and took long gulps of the red wine, letting the alcohol consume her before she thought too much about it.
She couldnât be with Will, no matter how much she liked him.
It wouldnât be fair with the other two.
And she loved them just as much.
