Aunque este es un blog en español va a ser necesario escribir esto en inglés para los que son parte de la comunidad y no hablan español. Como sé que la mayoría hablamos inglés, imagino que no habrá mucho problema :b

Changing Fate/ three:

As you can notice, for some reason I misread the second word (because I wrote it wrong in the first place when I was copying the list to have it on my sketchbook), anyway, that was the main inspiration for the drawing, so I think it worked in the end XD.

I wanted to put the same color on Dilandau-sama's shirt and Celena's dress because of the obvious XD I was going to put another shade of pink for the dress (more brilliant) but then I saw it might be perfect.

They are wearing golden cuffs and chain because, well, they are chained to each other, it's a little reference to the title of my fanfiction.

The tree is hiding Celena from Dilandau who seems like he don't notice her there but he knows that there's something, even if he doesn't see it or even know it's there. The branch on her side is broken, to symbolize her "fate change". I give Dilandau a rose, just as a glimpse of his squad in some way.

I liked how Dilandau's hair looks like in this more than in the past drawing (the one with the "Grand Gala" uniform), anyway I didn't had the right shade for his hair, so I ended up using pencil. I used markers and color pencils BTW.

It have details but I think it's not so terrible, except for the picture that looks a little bit darker, but I felt colors don't look bad anyways, so... It's not perfect but made with love.

Escaflowne Week 30th Anniversary Day 1: Changing Fate

Celena's Changing Fate by Katia Hougaard

Celena Schezar was an innocent young girl captured by Zaibach and subjected to mysterious fate-altering experiments that transformed her into the living weapon known as Dilandau Albatou. Only disturbing glimpses of this transmutation are shown in the anime, and in my fan art I show Celena's scattered impressions of the traumatic ordeal. Inspired by images of actual 17th century alchemists' tools, the sorciers' scientific instruments alter the balance of masculine and feminine energies in this child's destiny. Was Celena transformed into a boy against her will, or was there something in her latent nature that made such a fate alteration possible?
