It’s been 3 months since I’ve successfully drawn and painted a sexy pin-up like this! I’d like to thank Prince Adam (and by extension Nicholas Galatzine) for giving me the inspiration I’ve been missing! The new Masters of the Universe movie was a wonderful introduction to the He-Man franchise for me!

I took some artistic liberties with his design. In addition to stylizing him a little to fit my preferences, I also adjusted his He-Man costume to make it a little skimpier. If you’re wondering how those little red strings are enough to bind his hands, they’re magic, of course!

This picture was done traditionally, using Canson cold-pressed watercolor paper, Sakura Pigma Micron pens, Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints, and a white Sakura GellyRoll pen.

Clothes or no clothes? This is such a difficult decision! His He-Man costume just looks like bondage gear anyway. I skimped it up a bit from the movie version, because I didn’t want to cover up those muscles after I worked hard to draw them!
