It's always entertaining to see iTunes try to match album artwork from it's library to a CD that it is ripping.
The results are often wildly incorrect -- e.g., an old CD of John Denver & The Muppets: A Christmas Together was given the album art for James Brown's Bodyheat. I have yet to figure out the reasoning that led to that one.
Anyway, I just received a CD of the soundtrack score for John Carpenter's Escape from L.A., by Shirley Walker and Carpenter:
I popped it into the CD drive, let iTunes have its way with it, and when the job was done, here was the album art iTunes provided:
Second CD I quality-ripped. I just blindly put my hand in the Box with CDs and this one came out:
We have no fucking clue where this one comes from 😂😂
To be honest, I might have been into it as it came out, but my parents would never had allowed me to buy it. And my husband was into techno, goth and pop, not... Sailor Moon. 😂

One of my current non-writing pet projects has been going through my sisters decade old CD collection and figuring out what’s on some of the vaguely labelled burnt CDs and seeing what condition they are in. I came up on a CD that was mysteriously titled “Two” and was so degraded there was a visible hole in the shiny side. I wanted to see if it would even play, and it half works. The other half was the most cursed listening experience: no audio, just the sound of the CD player struggling to read, interspersed with various 4-5 second snippets of mostly unintelligible Nickelback (and maybe some Creed), which would occasionally be interrupted by Last Resort by Papa Roach. This went on for genuinely at least ten minutes. It felt like I was playing with a spirit box looking for the ghost of Chad Kroeger.
I love you foobar2000. I love you XLD secure ripper. I love you local file storage on my computer. I love you CD collection. And most importantly, I love you FLAC file
Some new CDs I picked up yesterday while in [MAJOR SHOPPING CENTRE] with my gf. Ripped and added to the collection, for another 61 songs.
