in this au, curt manages to talk owen down during the staircase scene and convinces owen to go home with him- but what he doesn't know is that owen is merely in act three of his mission from chimera- make curt think he's forgiven, gain information on the a.s.s., and take down them both. of course, that means owen will have to pretend he's still in love with curt, but owen's a brilliant actor. surely nothing could go wrong...

so this basically takes place a few months into the story, where curt and owen are still awkward around each other but are starting to fall back into their own rhythm, something that's a lil too familiar for owen. and it's based on the garden scene/i won't say i'm in love from hercules because OF COURSE it is lol
