Caution if definitely going to be an E=MC2 situation, where it takes a while to really appreciate it and realise just how tight and well made it is.

GTFO - It’s really grown on me, I love it but still maintain it would work better if it built up and had a climax.

With You - I loathe the ‘since that Bone-Thug song’ line, but other than that I actually really love it, it’s a ballad go-to for me now.

Caution - A stone cold groove, it really works

A No No - Iconic, the Lil’ Kim Crush On You (one of my fav songs by my fav rapper) sample was genius.

The Distance - One the best songs she’s ever made, i’m obsessed. If there was any justice in the world this would be her 19th #1.

Giving Me Life - The song lives up to the name, Mariah’s feeling herself and i’m here for it. THAT BREAKDOWN THO.

One Mo’ Gen - It’s ok, sounds great but it doesn’t really go anywhere.

8th Grade - Same as Caution but better, a stone cold groove that really works.

Stay Long Love You - Terrible title aside, I really love it. Though i’m a bit bitter it wasn’t a spiritual sequel to I’ll Be Lovin’ You Long Time, I mean the title set me up for that disappointment!

Portrait - Simply amazing, really beautiful. Soundwise it’s like a cross between Petals and Michael Jackson’s Heaven Can Wait, and i’m here for it. Love it.

Runway (Bonus Track) - Fantastic, how dare she not include this on the main release! Not really feeling Butterfly playing in the background tho, sounds like it was just accidentally left playing while they recorded the song.

8/10 - It’s a smash, darlings. Would absolutely recommended.
