Another thing, please choose a stage name and stick to it. I don’t care what it is. It could be ‘Toaster McCree’ for all I give a shit, so long as it’s the name you use on ALL your emails, CVs, demos, etc. I’ve had people come to me with 5 different names splayed across emails and resumes and portfolios and I am generally told to toss those people too because they are impossible to keep track of in a sorting system of, again, 500+ talent. PICK A NAME. STICK TO THE NAME.

Tip #4: Yet another group subject to the marginalization of casting is that of the black female. Casting will only consider black females that are educated, but also pertain to common qualities associated with the motif of “Mad Black Woman”. This duality of education and “ghetto” antics vindicates white viewers and allows them to continue living in a world where reverse-racsim exists.If you are a black female and want to be cast for Big Brother, the best approach is to act as if you are a character in a Tyler Perry movie. When speaking directly to a casting director, every 5-8 words you speak should include one of the following: God, religion, sassy, impatient, or “my people”. Although black females are often religious and passionate about their opinions/beliefs, these qualities will be edited as over the top to add to the caricature of the black female as “crazy” or a “bitch”.

Tip #3: If you are over the age of 32, your application is more likely to be forwarded to the AARP. Older houseguests are generally over the top and identify as "cool for their age" to get their foot in the door. Older houseguests are expected to cling to their occupation, mom/dad status, and/or their inability to compromise on their conservative ideals. The overwhelming Republican presence at CBS will look for applicants that remind them of themselves so that these "hip" older houseguests can subliminally push a conservative agenda to the younger audience.

Tip #2: Casting producers often try to kill several birds with one stone when casting the token gay houseguest. Besides being gay, you must be two of the following: attractive, ethnic, flamboyant, funny, well-educated, and/or a victim of prejudice. The trick is to break stereotypes while simultaneously adhering to the minimum threshold of diversity so that CBS doesn't lose viewers in the Bible belt of the USA. More feminine gays are favored because they help perpetuate the stereotype of gay men as weak to help validate the sexuality of homophobes that may watch the show.
