We all make jokes about Steve having a loyalty program at the hospital for being shot, but Daniel "Danno" Williams Absolutely has a loyalty program with a body shop on the island with the amount of times that poor Camero gets shot up

âNot a word,â Steve hissed after abruptly breaking so he wouldnât crash into the car in front of them.Â
âHow about four then? Because I told you so!âÂ
âThatâs five,â Steve gritted out. He looked into the rearview mirror in opes of doing a an illegal u-turn to get them out of this insane traffic, but muttered a swear when he saw they were basically boxed in.Â
âSeriously? Couldnât you have listened at all when I told you not to use this route?âÂ
âItâs the fastest way. Weâve used it before. You know!âÂ
âWhen we make it out on a weekday, sure! Itâs Friday, Steven!â Danny scolded him before sighing and texting the rest of the team. âYou have to call the governor and tell them youâre going to be very late or not be able to make it.âÂ
Steve groaned but knew Danny was right. The next couple of minutes werenât his favorite. So much so that he faked bad reception due to where they were, which they managed to convey at least, before hanging up.Â
Steve slumped into the seat...they barely managed to move while he made that call.Â
âThis is torture.âÂ
âAt this point youâre just being a masochist then. This whole thing could have been avoided.â
âIs the implication here that youâre a sadist? Iâd believe that. Though Iâd pity your sub.âÂ
âYouâre confusing terminology. For your information, Iâd be a great Dom. Which is the word youâre looking for.âÂ
They moved a bit, but not enough. It was the kind of traffic that incited intense road rage on the most peaceful of drivers. It was threatening to make Steve homicidal. Which is why, despite probably being the worst idea for his jealousy, he dove into the topic they stumbled into.Â
âHave you ever Dommed anyone?â Steve asked, trying to be casual about it. Part of it was because he just wanted something to distract him from his impatience of being stuck. Another part...well, he was now curious but wasnât too sure what heâd do with the information.Â
Danny took his time answering, and his answer served as one hell of a distraction because Steveâs attention was now honed in. Danny shrugged his shoulder a bit and replied with, âOnce or twice.âÂ
âWho? Rachelâs too prim and proper...and kind of prudish. No way those would be her kinks...â Was he giving away too much about what he thought about Dannyâs ex-wife? But it also held reason! If their sex life had been more adventurous, Steve couldnât fathom how anyone could or would divorce Danny, but less if they had it all.Â
âNo, it wasnât Rachel. Exploring things with her were...âprim and proper,â Danny answered dismissively. His and Rachelâs sex life wasnât a topic he wanted to discuss with Steve.Â
âBut you have dommed before?â Steve continued to pry.
âItâs not what youâre thinking. No leather or crops. Being a Dom is more than just the sex part. Itâs the attentiveness you have for your partner, making sure their needs are being met, which can be hard to voice. And because it can be hard, being there with the after care,â At the look he got from Steve, Danny tried to be cool about it but did look away for a bit, âI was asked to help a friend of mine back in college. I did a lot of research on it. They just needed a firm hand. In life. Didnât have to be sexual. Itâs...a mentality.â  Â
Steve nodded, biting the inside of his cheek to keep from commenting. This was new information that he had to process. As much shit he could give Danny about this, that was a spark of interest and a flustering feeling in the pit of his stomach that warned him heâd sooner make a fool of himself than Danny if he spoke.Â
Danny tried to fiddle with the radio to find a station to fill the silence. It worked for a while, but as they slowly moved, the actual terrain around them began to affect the signal and they werenât able to listen to music.Â
Steve kept his eyes focus, trying to see movement and maybe a way to veer through and get out faster. Meanwhile his thoughts were...elsewhere. He tried to seem unbothered. Practice breathing exercises that werenât obvious or bring attention to him. So hyper focus that when the next bit of space cleared up, he wasnât paying attention and nearly crashed into the car in front of them.Â
âSteve!â
Steve slammed on the brake and panted, just short of tailgating the front car. Panting slightly he forced out an, âIâm sorry....âÂ
Danny eyed him carefully, though it didnât take too long to find out why Steve was acting the way he was. Looking at the traffic ahead, Danny knew they still had miles before they could even reach a road thatâll give them an option of a different route. He hated seeing Steve suffer, whatever he may bitch and moan about him otherwise...and he did feel somewhat responsible. Which also came with a bit of pride.Â
Taking a moment to switch mentality a bit, Danny reached for Steveâs shorts.Â
âWhat are you-â
âHands on the wheel. Eyes on the road,â Danny ordered.Â
Steve grasped the wheel tightly and focused his gaze forward...though he snuck some glances to the side.Â
They were still surrounded by other cars so Danny didnât want to make it too obvious what he was doing, but it didnât take him too long to unleash Steveâs cock from its confines.Â
Heâs caught glimpses of it before. Steve seemed to jump at any and every chance to strip, and more than once have shared a locker room situation as they changed for the beach or out of dirty and bloodied clothing. Theyâve stolen looks. Danny still had to be somewhat discreet, though a lot more daring than ever has he gotten a clear view of what Steve was packing in those cargo pants of his.Â
Reaching over he grabbed just under the cockhead and stroked downward to the base before gliding his fist back up. It was tentative at first. He repeated the action but this time focused on Steveâs face. When Steve closed his eyes for a moment, Danny reminded him in a quiet but firm voice, âEyes open. On the road.âÂ
Steve nodded but bucked into Dannyâs hold. With more confidence Danny continued working Steveâs cock. He licked his lips and fought off the desire to lean over and take him into his mouth. This wasnât the place for it.Â
âFuck...fuck...fuck, Danno, so close!âÂ
âYou come on my steering wheel and thereâll be hell to pay, Steven.â Danny warned. Â
Steve moaned at the threat and it was what pushed him over the edge. He ended up breaking abruptly again. The car behind them honking at them, but they were very much trapped in their own bubble inside of the Camaro. Most of the mess was on Steveâs tank top, but some did get on the steering wheel.Â
Looking over, Steve motioned to the glove compartment. âThere should be some napkins in there.â After Danny handed him some, Steve asked, âWhat kinda hell can you dish out?âÂ
âLetâs get out of this traffic before we go that far, babe.âÂ
âItâs a date.âÂ
Itâs a real shame that they never did a crossover between NCIS and Hawaii 5-0, because they missed out on a really great comedic opportunity; Imagine the MCRT witnessing Danny tear Steve a new one, and when asked if they are okay (after someone sees their shocked faces) one of them replies ÂŤI could never imagine ever yelling at Gibbs like thatÂť, then someone informs them that this is mild for them and that Danny punched Steve on their first day together. Suddenly they all have mad respect for Danny and his gutsđ
Bonus point if Danny retaliates after this point with McNicknames everytime Steve says Danno, after hearing Tony say McGeek or something
I canât believe they missed this opportunity!

7x18: E Malama Pono-The rule âif itâs not hidden, itâs not forbiddenâ
Steve you are the one who is getting worked up about it. Not Danny. I think Danny has reason to be upset. Tell me I am not the only one who is on Dannyâs side of this Cargument?
Danny is canonly older than Steve(he was born in 76 and Steve apparently both in 77/78), you best believe it's brought up in carguments!

Oh well, here we go again. Remember this scene from episode 6.11? If you keep watching you will learn about episode 8.06 and the therapist in the backseat. So we went from couples therapy to backseat counseling. So far so good.
Question: Why is it always overweight women in the role of the therapist/counselor? Is that supposed to be funny? Why are we back to square 6.11? These sex-related questions that are only written to throw Steve (even more than Danny) off balance and are meant to be âoh so funnyâ - it is always a good laugh to embarrass a character - are getting boring. Sorry. Can we please get back to the witty banter and carguments we had in the early seasons? Do we really need overweight women to explore the non-existent sexual relationship between Steve and Danny by asking rather ambiguous questions? I think weâve seen enough of it. Make McDanno canon but stop with this BS thatâs supposed to be funny while it is not, or not really. Looks like they think: Letâs do it again, it worked so well in 5.17 and we could really need another embarrassing moment three years later.Â
Forgive an old frustrated fart who is not happy about the development concerning McDanno and Danny. Sometimes, it looks like they are about to dismantle the core of the show. Didnât PL once say, McDanno is the heart and soul of the show? Few episodes into season 8 it feels more like someone tore the heart out of the chest to see it beating after all these years. While the soul withdrew into a dark corner where we can hardly see it.
